I am not one to write reviews, but this review is worth my time. If you love the smell of raw sewage, this is the place for you. The frequent wafts of sewage can be smelled while enjoying their very brisk pool, and while at your campsite. It seems like their are some nice sites, but good luck trying to get into one even when the park is maybe a quarter full. We specifically asked to move sites after we were placed up the hill in a tiny site right next to a cabin. We explained that we would happily pay the difference if the specific sites we inquired about were considered premium sites. We were told by the front desk that they would speak to the manager, and let us know. After several hours, we hadn’t heard anything, so we went back to inquire. We were told that it was not possible to move, because the other sites were not available. Quite ironically, none of those sites ever filled up during our 5 day/4 night stay. The internet was down throughout our stay, and there was no cellphone service. This wasn’t an issue until our truck broke down, and we had no means of obtaining information on repair shops/towing service. My husband tried to obtain information from the front office. He was given one phone number, and directed to the pay phone outside. He asked if they had the ability to call the shop, and he was told that their phones were down. He went outside to use the pay phone to call the shop, and they were not able to get us in for a week. He went back inside to the office to try to get more information, and low and behold an office person was talking on the landline that was supposedly not working. The general vibe was you are on your own, and they were not going to provide any information beyond that one number. The woman who did provide the number was even quite rude about the entire situation. The only redeeming quality about this place is the petting zoo, and the kind couple that cares for the animals. They were they only people willing to offer any type of meaningful assistance. They loaned us a battery charger, and were willing to go into town to pick up my husband from another shop that was able to help us if the truck wasn’t repaired that same day. The office suggested he ride his beach cruiser back the 2.5 miles on the highway with no shoulder and several hills. My husband is a California Triple Crown Double Century Cyclist, and he was even surprised that this is what was recommended. The kind couple at the petting zoo even mentioned how unsafe that would be. Thankfully the truck was able to be repaired. We camp a lot, but this is not place we will stay again. We do not recommend this park. If you want to go to Yosemite, pick a different RV park or stay in the actual park.

OSEMITE PINELODGE @GROVELAN BY HWY 120 12-19-2020 through 12-24-2020 check in 3pm- chrck out 12pm the 24th. Key were left on window at night upon arrival. Room is assigned by number which is C 18, which included 1 queen bed and 2 bunkbeds separate room. The only downside is restroom is 10mins walking distance. Although the cabin consisted of microwaves, small fridge, waterpot machines and t.v. In addition, the only downside is there is no connection, even hotspot is worthless. The only way to have wifi connection is paid either 1 day for (3$), 3 days for 6$ or a week for ($8). The first impression of the room was descently good, because it clean, nice and need. It is also have heater which is great for winter season. In addition, it has two separate door in same room, although voice sound can be heard clearly between two join rooms. The queen bed is big enough for two peoples. The two bunkbeds is clean and offered small pillow ans bedsheet and bedcover to help with making customer stayed pleasant. During the stay, we're all have great experience. The customer services and surrounded people in the cabin are pleasant and respectiveful toward 1 another. i remembered, i had to wash my clothes and brought only ($2) to the laundry room which i was short of $.25 cents, luckily cleaning lady was able to givable changed and additional twenty five cents to help me able to wash and clean my clothes. As i started washing nmy clothes i realized that the room stated "laundry room open and closd from 9am-5pm, so i was late and finished washing and drying my clothes until 5:30pm . The protocol process and regulation are strict. We were required to wear mask as we enter and walk around the facility. There are multiple site within the cabin depend on price location. We spend (525$ total) for four night and five days in two room with 1 queen bed and 2 bunkbeds. It was a great experience and fun memory as this was my first time experiencing cabin life during decmeber, especially during covid season when literally the areas was empty snd quiet with peace. Moreover, i remembred, one of the third night, i learned how to begin building a firepit my fiest time. It was fun and i had a great time as. I took my time like 5 mins with drywood yo setting up firepit which was completed a success. I enjoyed sitting outside table near firepit where i have three glssses of wines with hot warm coco as i looked up in the sky with beautiful moons and stargazed. Overall experienced is great, i would definitely come again and highly recommended for people to come and check it out.

We gathered at Yosemite Pines with my husband's family in 2013 to honor his parents and so they thought it fitting we should all reunite in Aug 2023 since they both passed away this past Spring. Since most family members were coming from out of state we rented cabins. Our cabin was B-2 and several other family members had cabins adjacent or across the road; all were located above and behind the general store and pool. As mentioned in other reviews, we were subjected to an intermittent, but frequent, sewage/septic smell which made gathering outside for games or meals almost unbearable. When we arrived to our cabin we noticed immediately our cabin didn’t have a picnic table or any type of grilling device. Wood-burning fires were banned during our stay so the only options were charcoal or propane. We notified management and they quickly delivered a picnic table and a gas grill which was much appreciated. The condition of the cabin itself was very run-down. There were holes in cabinet doors and walls. The bathroom door—which didn’t fully close due to warping—had a piece of plywood attached to the outside rather than simply installing a new door. The towel bar in the bathroom had been moved and no repair made to the large holes from its previous location. Candidly, it appeared there is very little maintenance and updating performed on these cabins. We were in a cabin which slept 8 people (Queen primary bed, sofa bed, queen bed and two twins in the loft). However, there was one extremely small bathroom and the ONLY mirror in the entire cabin was in the bathroom. We found it hard to believe they hadn’t installed any other mirrors throughout the cabin to be used by guests. I called Yosemite Pines prior to our arrival to ask what amenities were included in the kitchen, specifically if there was a coffee maker in the cabin and if coffee and filters were provided. I was told a coffee maker was provided and some starter packs of coffee; however, we brought the wrong type of filters because of incorrect information provided to us. It would be helpful if Yosemite Pines would update their website to reflect suggested items to bring. Another inconvenience was the refrigerator door being installed so that it opened opposite the kitchen. That, coupled with it being unable to open fully due to its depth and the kitchen counter location, made it impossible to access the refrigerator interior from the kitchen area.

I felt like this location was not customer service oriented in anyway and takes advantage of the fact that they are close to Yosemite.

Check-in was a very slow process even though we came in with a pre-paid reservation.

We stayed in an RV lot and upon arrival someone was in our site with tents and the they could not move us to another spot so we had to wait until the person round up the people to move. Originally the employee was going to leave us alone there and we requested they stay as the the tent person was very angry.

The bathrooms were small and well used. While there were 3 shower stalls one of them had been screwed shut and only left 2 available which were full of dirt. They really need to add some showers and service the restrooms through out the day.

If you need wifi ---do not stay here. We travel and work remote and the park has not purchased enough bandwidth to supply the 200 campsites they offer. I wish parks would remove this as an amenity if they can't provide enough bandwidth to download a google search page. They claim it is just during peak time but I was up at 2am and was just as slow as 6pm. Also, we have TMobile so our only coverage was in the Yosemite Valley (not the parks problem but we could not use our mobile and were relying on the advertise wifi).

We had added an extra day to our stay which would have required us to move to another site. Which is not a problem as we are not people who hang out too much in an RV Park and were spending the full days in Yosemite hiking. We asked were we could park our RV in the morning so we could be out of our spot and then we'd move into our new spot in the afternoon when we got back. This was something I had asked on the phone when booking, asked again at the office when I checked in and each day after---to which I was told not a problem. 2 days before the move I asked for a specific location and had blank looks from the employee who said she would leave a note for the manager and the next day no one had any information. Since I needed to move the next day the office employee called the owner who said that I'd have to leave and come back. This clearly is not an option as we had a car and did not need nor want to drive our RV up and down all the mountains into Yosemite. We requested a full refund and found another campground that allowed us to park for the day until our site was open.

While the employees were not rude, we found that they were not helpful at all and the owner was downright hostile at my request to park some where until I could move to a new site.

Overall for the value of $47 a night with my Good Sam's discount--it was not worth the cost. There was an additional $5 dump fee and the station was locked and only open during store time. It seem at that cost they would allow one free dump per stay.

They did advertise a petting zoo, panning for gold, pool, walking trail and stables. My kids did enjoy panning for gold. But said the pool was very dirty, the petting zoo was just some animals behind a fence they could reach into, the trail/corral they said was full of trash and smelled bad.

Spots were very close and tight but a mix of shade/not shade. No issues with noise.

Plan early and stay at other parks (which all were sold out when we planned our trip) closer in or near a different Yosemite entrance. The park was a little over 30 minutes to the entrance and another hour into Yosemite Valley so an hour 1/2 each way which means were were leaving at 6am to beat...

We stayed here just shy of a full week, and us, the dog and the grandkids had a great time. I found the only people to think the staff was rude were people who don't like the COVID 19 protocols in place. They are short-staffed, and I get that, so be nice. There are mask rules, and they are easy to follow. Buildings and petting zoo when people are around. Done.||||We stayed in our own RV. Sites had full hook-ups. One of my granddaughters loved going to feed the animals during feeding times. Staff was super friendly to her when she was late for one of them because we had been in the park. They told her to hang on and they would be back to open it when they finished another chore they had to do. She was thrilled!||||There were times the bathrooms weren't as clean as they could be. I don't put that just on staff. People need to do better when using public places. Clean up after yourselves. There is no excuse for not flushing toilets or paper on the ground. Showers had warm water that lasted a nice long time.||||The onsite store wasn't stocked with much, but it is 7 minutes to the grocery store in Groveland. Super easy and convenient. Pool was closed, and that's okay. We went and hung out at the Rainbow Pools. (They have a map on the wall of the office.) They did have ice cream, so we were stoked! ||||I would say my biggest complaint was trying to navigate the nature trail that went around the resort. It wasn't always clear where to go, and seemed to dead end. This is by no means a deal breaker. I was walking my dog, so she didn't mind wandering around. LOL!||||Super close to the Yosemite entrance! I like the West entrance to the park much better than the south one. We were able to break up the areas of Yosemite that we visited so we wouldn't be overwhelmed in one day.||||Fun things- there is a dog who lives across the road that comes by to see if he can get any food out of you. His name is Buckshot. He's friendly, so even if you shoo him away, be nice about it. 2 of the bunnies from the petting zoo have escaped and you can see them out in the mornings and evenings. They are black and white, so easy to figure out they are not wild bunnies. (Well, they are now!) There is a playground. The petting zoo can be fun, and you can also feed the alpaca and donkeys through the fence. (We asked what we would be allowed to feed them before we did that.)||||You'll enjoy yourself if you accept that things just aren't normal right now. If you are the type to complain about COVID while home, you will be less happy while out. Be nice. These people are doing the best they can as well. (And if you are from a state that doesn't follow the same COVID guidelines, remember the travel rule of...
