Laurie and Keith are such gracious hosts! When you book a place that you’ve never been to before, there can be some apprehension on what you might find upon arriving...not here! We were amazed at how beautiful the inn and property were! Upon arriving we were met by Laurie who personally walked us to our room, went through where everything was, how it worked, and what to expect during our stay. The room, Lov’in Oven, was so wonderful in its attention to detail...from the mints bedside, spa towels and robes for the hot tub, wine glasses and candles for the whirlpool tub, refreshments stocked in the mini fridge...even the music playing when we entered! The details don’t stop there...the main house is beautiful and inviting...you can sit fireside, enjoy an afternoon refreshment after a long day of skiing, work on a puzzle while watching the river flow right outside the window, or become amused by the resident turkey, geese, and pups playing outside...you never want for anything. Every morning we started each day with a delicious breakfast! Laurie was so thoughtful to take care with our gluten-free menu request...each day we were surprised with such an array of both savory and sweet combinations that would sustain us through our busy ski excursion...the presentations were so eye appealing, I had to take pictures before digging in! If you are ever looking for a serene mountain getaway, then look no further...the grounds are immaculate! The river and surrounding mountain side are complimented by the sitting areas including a lighted gazebo, swing with fire pit, and bbq area! We spent a lot of time just walking along the bank of the river, listening to the water rush by, and smelling the freshest brisk air! There is no doubt that we will be back and we won’t be alone! Thank you again to Laurie and Keith...tell Scotty hello from us!...
Read moreWe stayed here at the tail end of Labor Day Weekend and what a gorgeous setting to enjoy the great outdoors. The backyard area along the river was absolutely stunning and peaceful. It's one of those places where you don't want to leave the property! I could have stayed there all day! There were so many sitting areas with fire pits and Adirondack chairs, quaint little lights and vines, a swing, a hot tub, beautiful trees and a dramatic rock outcropping. The room was so cozy and quaint and we loved how it was attached to the house but felt like a separate cottage with a front door and a back door that opened up to the patio and riverfront. The main house was so well appointed and comforting. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfasts there in the morning. Which brings me to the topic of breakfast! WOW, so elegant and delicious and pretty. I love how you don't know what you're getting, it's a surprise so just enjoy what they make and boy do they make it well. We had a ramekin with a Swedish Dutch boy type of pancake that was served with cinnamon apples, pecans and warm maple syrup..so delicious. It was accompanied by a perfectly cooked egg with fresh herbs and always fresh fruit and hot coffee. The other breakfast was also incredible with an egg scramble with cheese and herbs, sausage and these mini fresh baked pumpkin poppers and a melon fruit salad. Keith and Laurie and their daughter are the nicest people with top notch hospitality, We really enjoyed talking with them. We just loved our stay and although South Fork is far, 4 1/2 hours from our home we would come back here because of this place. We hope to come during the fall next year as I can imagine all those Aspens create a warm hue of beauty. Thank you for a...
Read moreI cannot believe how incredible this place is!! My husband and I decided last year we didn’t want a wedding, we just wanted to elope. So we scoured the internet for the best elopement packages, as I didn’t want to plan any of it, which is when we found Arbor house. They had the most comprehensive and complete package we found and after looking into them more we decided they’d be perfect for our little ceremony. We went up there in the fall to check the place out and make sure we liked it in person too and we fell in love. It is the prettiest little family run B&B I have ever been too! The views are stunning and the property and rooms are amazing! Then we went back in April for our actual wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! It was literally everything we wanted and Arbor house made it happen 💗 the entire family are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Their daughter, Ashley, was our photographer for the wedding and she is incredible!! We eloped alone but thanks to her beautiful pictures we are able to share our special day with friends and family too :) I couldn’t recommend this place more whether you’re looking for a quiet mountain escape at their B&B or if you choose an elopement like we did, they will meet and exceeds whatever needs you have! We will...
