UPDATE: Talk about retaliation because we are trying to prove our innocence!!
Spoke to Rich the Hotel Manager, he was rude and said he was not doing anything about this matter. He said the he did his review and he will not look at anything further. I asked for him to look at video and he refused and said do whatever I needed to do. He said call the police, call whomever you want but I am not refunding the money back. Might I say I never asked for a refund!!! I asked what the charge was and why. I have never mentioned anything about any refund, I was upset that we were being accused of taking a cheap microwave that I certainly do not need. I have my own. Of course you have to give back the money you fraudulently took from my credit card without even notifying us about a missing microwave!!!
We checked out of the hotel in the morning and later that day at 2:44 pm I spoke to the afternoon manager and asked why there were 3 charges on my card and not once was the microwave mentioned about being missing!!!
He went on and said that he reviewed the keycard log to see who had been in and out and that just us and the maid had been in and out. I said then pull the video and he still refused!! Said you can call whoever you want and complain and write all the bad reviews you want but I am not going to give you your money back! He said if you call me back or call here back harassing them he would report me.
I mean is he really serious??!!! Like I told him maybe it was your employee and they do not want to hear that at all. They want to pin it on innocent people or steal hard own worked money from innocent people.
So I filled a major complaint with Hilton Corporate and we are demanding that the video footage be reviewed. I know they have cameras and if this video mysteriously disappears, well then you know that these people are shady and accusing and robbing innocent people and not caring that they do.
Shame on Rich the Hotel Manager for being so unprofessional and not wanting to review the video that would prove our innocence!!!
We have stayed at Hilton hotels and are members as well for many years and to be accused has been the worst experience of my life!
WARNING: Do not trust this hotel or its Management. We’ve never had a hotel experience like this. After my stay, we were charged three times for the same room. A manager corrected the mistake after I called, but that wasn't the end of it.
Soon after, I was hit with a new, fraudulent charge of $100 for a microwave the hotel claimed we stole. When I called the manager back to question it, he said it was for a missing microwave. I was so mad because I knew we had not taken the microwave! He said call back tomorrow because it was the day manager that put the charger on my card!
I told him maybe it was one of their employees and he got mad for me saying that, but had no problem accusing innocent people!
I call the main Hilton customer service and explained to them what was going on. He called the hotel and came back and said that this manager had said he had informed me of the charge the day of, which he never did and flat out lied! Why on earth would I call about the charge if he already told me?!!
The fact that they would accuse us of taking a cheap microwave and then lie about it is incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. We were traveling from Canada after attending a memorial service back to Texas! I have a new smaller 228i BMW! We barely fit with our luggage and on top of that I had my service dog with us!
I've contacted Hilton corporate to demand a full investigation into this location's billing practices and request they review security footage. This experience was truly awful, and it feels like something shady is going on.
Please check your credit card statements carefully if you choose to stay here. I sure wouldn’t!!

Read moreI thought I would write this review after seeing the many negative reviews. I think many of the bad reviews were written about the "Super 8" motel that previously occupied this building. It has since been renovated and is now a Hilton Spark Hotel. This facility is recently renovated. There were no bad smells. No bugs. The facility and room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There are nearby restaurants. The staff was courteous and pleasant to deal with. And we were not billed for a stolen microwave.||It is located right off I-81 - easy off/easy on. There was a bit of road noise but we chose a room about as far from the road as possible so not too bad. Got a good night sleep and back on the road then next day. ||Two negative comments, both minor. The iPhone room key did not work so we had to get regular key cards from the desk. And the elevator was out of order, so we took the stairs.||All I all, I would stay there again for an overnight stop on a road...
