The A-Frames at Aspen Acres — Hotel in Spearfish

I stayed here recently at the Le Blanc A Frame, and I've got to say, what a beautiful home and modern design! I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a clean and fresh place to stay!

The bed linens and towels were clean (smelled fresh and not musty or old). The kitchen was immaculate and each room had a cooling AC unit with controller. There were also fans and a white noise machine. The fans came in handy at night for those of us who run hot. The beds were soft but not to the point of no support and there were different kinds of pillows. I found one that worked for my chronic neck pain.

The kitchen was stocked enough for a breakfast or light meal. I was able to make frozen pizza one night and breakfast (hash browns/eggs). They did have a coffee maker and supplied grounds and tiny creamers/sugars - there are coffee shops within 10 minutes of the house.

There is a LITTLE bit of highway noise if you are sensitive to noise like I am, but not enough to ruin sleep or the overall peacefulness of the place imo.

The showers gave good pressure and hot water. My one and ONLY complaint is the lack of light blocking curtains in the upstairs bedroom. They installed sheer curtains and with the light on the exterior of nearby buildings and from the sky, made our sleep disrupted. It's not a deal breaker though but I hope the host will consider putting some darker curtains for a more peaceful sleep 😊

The host was very responsive and easy to work with as well. The location also felt secure and I feel like thats super important.
