I honestly did not have high expectations for this motel in such a small town. The woman who checked us in was really pleasant and gave us recommendations for breakfast spots as well as offered us drinks from the Keurig in the lobby. The rooms were clean, had plenty of blankets, 2 beds and a futon, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a TV. The room I stayed in had an electric heater that quickly made the room toasty for the night. Water was plenty warm for showers, though it took a bit to heat up for the first shower. There is plenty of parking next to the rooms and easy access from the highway. This was a good choice for our one-night stay and I will likely stay here in the future when visiting family...

Big A/C and heater units in room handled conditions outside perfectly. Large bathrooms with sink ( no counter space ) and Shower ( no tub ). Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Table in room provided counter space. Two office type chairs provided for seating. Owner very friendly and knowledgable of area. Also, took great pride in establishment. What a great find! Wonderful representation of a small town motel. Not many of these found anymore. Wish I could stay longer! I will be back next...

Be patient with the hot water—it took a while for the shower to heat up, and the sink never produced warm water during my stay.||The lobby is locked, so you’ll need to call if there’s an issue. In our case, we had to call to get our room keys, but it wasn’t a problem. ||Neal, the owner, assisted us over the phone, was very nice and accommodating.||The only downside was the noise and smell of diesel vehicles warming up for a half hour at 6 a.m., which was annoying, though that’s not the motel’s fault.||Overall, I would stay at the Skyline...
