Wander Ridge — Hotel in Springfield Township

This place is absolutely so adorable! We booked one night to end our honeymoon off with a stay here before our fun time ended & I hands down think this was the best part of our vacation! We spent 3 nights on the ocean beach & one night in the mountains of Virginia, but this dome in the very hilly woods of Pennsylvania? Breath taking. It was such a nice change up & our dome was beautifully furnished. Something about having to keep the fire burning in the Firestone & sitting in front of the big beautiful window while the sun came up just felt 100% right. We didn’t really go exploring with how tired we were from driving state to state all week, but I think we just might be coming back to these domes every year to celebrate our anniversary for now on! If you like camping, but want to feel like you’re in a cabin, this is the place! There is a shared portapotty but it’s a more smell friendly & smell trapping one! & I hate portapotties!! lol I was extremely impressed being I have never seen one like that before! This was a cool experience! Great views of the sunset from the driveway that leads down to the domes. Star-filled sky at night! There are hiking trails nearby -- definitely better with hiking boots than sneakers. The interior of the domes was cozy, the beds were comfy, and we felt like we had all of the supplies we needed for the night. iPhone 16 should bring a converter to USB-A as the charging ports don't have USB-C quite yet. We couldn't get our fire started I think because there was moisture in the air so you might want to bring some fire starter sticks though some firewood and lighter are supplied. I'm literally afraid of the dark so I recommend a jug if you have to pee at night and don't want to walk over to the porta-potty LOL. It's not far from the domes and lanterns are supplied, I just grew up in the city so I'm less tolerant of bushes rustling in the dark. I know the owners have plans to make upgrades, too. There's an outdoor shower but I didn't use it because we only stayed one night. Overall, I recommend checking this place out for a romantic, platonic, or family getaway!! We had a fantastic stay in this peaceful and beautifully located dome – just the two of us and our two kids. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The dome itself was very comfortable with a pleasant indoor temperature at all times – and not a single mosquito inside, which made the stay even more enjoyable!

The hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and easy-going, which added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

We loved the nearby hikes, were impressed by the waterfalls, and even went whitewater rafting – a great adventure for the whole family!
