This is a beautiful park...very well maintained with roomy sites. We have pretty well self-contained so the Electric Only (30 amp) site was not a problem. I also can't comment on the bathrooms because we have our own to use. We were there in the middle of September, during the week, so it was not too crowded and very quiet. It's very dark at night (no light polution) so it's great for star gazing. There are plenty of water spickets spaced throughout the camping area if you need to fill up. Also, plenty of dumpsters throughout the campground. You can get local TV reception and we had cell service with Verison. We tried some fishing on the reservoir but didn't have any have any luck...but, there are two marinas if you have a boat and they are very nice! If you have a bike, be sure to check out the bike trail that runs along Buck Creek. It's a very picturesque ride (on asphalt) with plenty of waterfowl to checkout. This was our first stop on our trip and Buck Creek State Park sure set...

My family is large and all over the US and our dad is buried in the National cemetery in Dayton so, we have a family camp every year at Buck Creek. It's close enough to go to Dayton for Memorial day. As our family is mostly senior citizens we rent the cabins. The younger generation members use tents or campers. The park is amazing. It's clean and very picturesque. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The cabins are always very clean and fully stocked. Bring your clothes, personal hygiene stuff and food. Campgrounds are also clean. Water is available throughout the camping areas. There are playgrounds for the kiddos, laundry facilities and restrooms with hot water showers conveniently located all through the camping areas. We'll keep on going as long as we're able. ps. Our matriarch will be 90 years old the...

I've been camping at Buck Creek State Park off and on for nearly 30 years. And I've Camped there regularly for the past 8 years. There has been no upgrades to the campground other than the camp store. I camp all around the state I seen many upgrades to a lot of Ohio Beautiful Campgrounds. WHY IS BUCK CREEK BEING NEGLECTED. Once I was there and a camper turn on his second air-conditioner and it shut the power down in the section of the park I was in for 2hours there is no 50amp service. No full-hook service. Rest rooms are...

Stayed at campground for 4 nights as the CG opened for season. No water at dump station as of April 6 due to potential freeze. Bathhouse was clean (somewhat dated but clean). Sites are narrow, with electric. Water available nearby. Well kept and clean. Even saw workers power wash the playground slides. Prepping for busy solar eclipse weekend. I would consider staying here again. One minor nit: breaker at site 69 kept tripping without a significant power draw. Updated with pictures of bathhouse.

This was my first time camping since I was 5 years old, and it was truly special and amazing! The Isenbarg family made it a great time for me! You see, I have Cerebral Palsy and I'm a paraplegic, which makes things like negotiating steps difficult for me, but with the family's help, it was accomplished. I slid up on my butt, but, it was done. Thank y'all for making my weekend awesome! I love y'all! Thank You, Jesus, for giving me the strength to make it all the way!
