Restin' Holes — Hotel in Springfield

Wife and I spent 5 days and 4 nights here and had an amazing time. This place is awesome from their fully furnished hobbit holes built into the countryside the huge hot tub, sauna, fire pit with swings and outdoor movie theatre, this place had it all. If you are looking for a great place to stay, with a D&D/LOTR flair, you will not be disappointed. Great for couples or family. The owners are hospitable and we had the opportunity to talk with them ever day and they went well above and beyond to accommodate any request we had. It is a short drive from Bardstown KY (Bourbon capitol of the world) and is a perfect base area for bourbon trail trips - Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Bardstown Bourbon and many more all a short drive away. Such an amazing place to stay!!! We absolutely adored the theme of Restin' Holes and the people that run them. Very, very clean rooms and incredibly spacious. We loved how we had a place to cook, wash clothes, workout, and chill! The owners are attentive to needs of guests. You can sit outside of the room and hear the waterfall. It is so relaxing. Ran, built, and decorated by locals. I really love to support a small business and the families behind them. From an engineering standpoint the rooms are quiet and temperature stable because they are partially underground. From an architectural and artistic standpoint this facility is unsurpassed.
