Good morning, We stayed at Tomorrow's Stars RV resort from Wednesday the 24th of April through the 28th of April 2024. First off we were very excited to stay there as Rachel informed us that it was a themed weekend of game shows. We booked it and was promised site 98. We left and went back to where we were staying as we are passing through onto Eagle River Wisconsin. When we came back to check in, Michelle and Rachel were both there and we were not even acknowledged when we entered. We stood there for a few minutes while they talked amongst themselves about work and then finally Michelle looks up and says like we are a burden "what can we do for you" we just met a day ago but ok. We tell her that we are here to check in and then she proceeds to tell us that we were promised a site we couldn't have because it's used for emergencies? Again ok, so we picked a different site and proceeded to set up and unhook are trailer as we are towing our car. Now let's get into the theme weekend. We went down for the bingo and here is where all the unwelcomed feeling comes in. My wife goes up to the lady and asks how this works as this is our first time here. She rudely and with a snooty attitude says it's $6.00 dollars for 6 games. Ok, so we pay and everyone is in there own little clicks and not even attempting to say hi to us. We soon figured out that everyone lives there and it's a trailer park feel and we are the outsiders. We didn't even want to participate in Saturdays events after that. We had no idea who worked there and who lived there. We would wave to people as they walked or drove by and nothing. Very strange but again ok. We had no idea who the camp hosts were or I guess the camp manager. No hospitality at all. We are full time RV living and work seasonal campgrounds as camp host and absolutely are active with our campers. We treat them with respect and introduce ourselves when they arrive so if they need anything, they know who to contact. There was definitely not the vibe here as again we were the outsiders and on top of it, someone hit our trailer as the photos are attached and when speaking to Leslie all she said was we'll keep an ear out. As we were leaving I stopped there to speak with her in person and some gentleman that said he was the head of security??? I said you can take a picture of the damage and if anyone is honest at this place they will come forward as things happen. I get it. She said I'll take a picture of it and put it in your file??? Really...I am not coming back so my file will go out of sight out of mind. Now my mistake I left my water regulator there and called to see if they can send it to me and now since we are gone, they don't call back. Fine, it's materials that can be replaced but the bottom line is how unhospitable and how unprofessional this place was and not a campground feel but more like a trailer park feel that should be a reality show. This is just our feedback and warning others not to stay there for a camping experience. Please reach out to me as I'm very disappointed that my 2023 trailer was damaged and no real concern from anyone that we came in contact that worked there. At least I think they did. No uniforms to distinguish who did and who didn't.

This was a nice RV Park that was close to family when we needed it. It is located east of Springfield and was close to Walmart. We had full hookups at very reasonable rates, so we didn’t need the bathhouse, but we did have a peek at it. The bathrooms and the laundry room were very clean. The people staying at the park that we were around were permanent residents, or at least seasonal with no intention of moving anytime soon. They were very nice and welcoming though. We had a nice concrete pad to walk out on, a fire ring and a picnic table. There were not too many kids in the park during the day, but I imagine that is because they were at school. They have two really nice playgrounds for the kids, a basketball court, and a pool when it’s in season. It gets very quiet at night, which was nice. Some of the RV’s that are parked here only have people come to them on weekends. They were all still very respectful and quiet. Monday we lost water connection, no warning at all. I drove to the front office in the rain and she said that they were repairing a water line. Oh, ok, I wasn’t aware we were going to be without water. She just replied, “Yep, they don’t give us much notice”. I also found it strange that there was no boil water notice issued for the repair, but maybe they don’t need those in Ohio? We boiled it anyway. Had one person complain about the two trucks parking in front of the RV because we were on the grass on our last day there, even though we had been parked there for over a week the same way. I kind of understand, but when you look around a lot of other vehicles were parked on the grass as well and I have to wonder if they were asked to move as well. All in all, it is a nice park and we would stay here again.

So the spaces are large and level and there are a lot of trees. Those are the positives. I think if you are a full timer or a seasonal that maybe makes it a decent place to stay. But if you are there for just a night or two there are some significant problems. First, the bathrooms and laundry are way off in the far corner of the park. They are a long way from the majority of the the sites because it is a very large park. They are also very outdated and not very clean. They need a water treatment system because there was so much sulphur in the water the bathroom literally smelled like the geyser basin at Yellowstone. All of the toilets and showers were stained yellow/brown. Which of course made me wonder about putting that water in my rig. There was so much hair in the drain of the shower, it looked like a small animal was in there. The water switched back and forth between scalding hot and freezing cold the entire shower. It made for a miserable shower for all of us. There was no wifi except right near the office. So basically I paid$40 to be able to use my microwave and dump my tanks. Not a great deal. I would not recommend.

Traveling across the country you have a lot of experiences. This campground will always win as the the WORST! I know it’s a long review, but heed the warning. I first called to confirm they had spots available, full hook ups/30 amp and they did. When we arrived nobody was in the office so I called the number on the door and was told where to park, but it had no water. Confused as to why that was not mentioned on the phone, I asked where we could get water since we thought we would have hook-ups. The woman said we could wait for them to return or take water from the laundry room, it was cleaner. Cleaner!? I wish that we would’ve taken that as a sign to keep driving! Warning #2 After the hassle of getting water from the laundry room faucet, we found our spot. The electrical box tower had reversed polarity, per our surge protector. So we moved over a spot. Once the manager was in, I went to check in and explained the electrical issue but they didn’t seem too concerned about it. Warning #3 We woke up to the sound of men talking and a tree branch falling right outside our bedroom window. I called the manager about the fact that these men were cutting down an entire tree and pulling towards our RV! The, arrogant, manager came over to tell them not to cut the tree towards any RVs or electrical boxes. After a few laughs with the tree trimming owner, the manger said, “I’m the boss, cut it however you want.” So, yes, they continued and the tree fell inches away from us! Complete disregard for property and lacked any sensitivity to our serious concern that this tree would land on us. They knew that that one tree was going to be cut down, why would they let us park there!? Warning #4 After looking over our bill, we were charged summer rates, that start in April, full hook-ups, we were partial and for 50 amp, which we were 30. I brought this to the attention of the self-important manager and he said the fees were correct. Even though it contradicts their website fees. I asked if there were other spots and there were, but those (maybe about 6-10) were reserved for those staying a week. He has no tact whatsoever and did not budge on over-charging us. He seemed almost proud. Also, don’t plan on doing laundry here, it’s $2.50 to wash and $2.00 to dry. The grounds are poorly maintained, if at all. I was surprised that although the tree trimmers were there, the manager failed to have them take care of several trees that had fallen over. A few fell on top of residents property, who are clearly out for the season, and yet, those remained. Probably due to his, “not my problem” attitude. The sprinklers ran, even during the rain. This made the muddy mess worse. Sadly, multiple full-time residents shared their horror stories as well and will not be staying after their time is up. Several also had issues with being overcharged. Pathetic that someone would take advantage of seniors! Don’t have regret, don’t give a penny...

We have been coming to this park since before it went to a membership park (a LONG time) . We will continue to go here ONLY because it is a quick trip for us. With that being said I can say the campground has definitely gone down hill lately. When you have "security" driving around pretty much intimidating or harassing people it starts to become a little much. Now we did personally have an incident with this for the 1st time and it was definitely uncalled for..someone we knew was dropping someone off and we watched the entire thing (no way he was going over 5mph, that is what their complaint was) 2 people rolled up on him and one literally knocked on the guys windows and hand gestured him to roll it down then asked him what he was doing there (again he was dropping a child off and had never been there, not a good first impression ) people camp to relax, not to be harassed by going (what you "think" is over 5 miles per hour. Golf carts fly around there, along with kids on electric bikes,.scooters ect that I can guarantee is more than 5mph..which is completely fine and would not want that taken away from the kids but at the same time, ease up on the whole monitoring and "security " that you have running around there. The grass has been an issue the past cpl times with being overgrown as well.. we were shocked to be thr a cpl weeks ago and how empty it was..we use to not be able to get a site there if we.tried to book a week or 2 out.. the pool was definitely a little green with algea the last time we were thr which wasn't a huge deal the kids still swim... I have heard alot of campers there complain about some things(most frequent is about "security" and the way the campgeound is ran) but hope it gets back on the right track and turns around...maybe mgmt or the parent company needs to start looking into some of the issues and even start handing out surveys. Might do wonders for the establishment. Never had really issues with the staff, the people in the office have always been...
