We only stayed for a single evening. Called the evening we were going to arrive and the owners were very gracious and told us we could just find an available spot and we could work out payment in the morning. Pretty quiet (and cold) location in mid October. Worked out great.

A very well kept quiet Campground, modern bathrooms, showers are clean and free. There is a play area for children. On-site owner who responded immediately when I called and appears to keep things clean and in working order.

Very nice place, BUT, they decided that they would be going permanent, this year 2019...with the exception of a few spots reserved for their friends. We booked our 12 sites last 2018 Memorial weekend for 2019, we usually have extra people with campers/tents and they have allowed us to double up, which is great for us. And the owners because they were able to get extra $ for those that doubled up. We thought we were all set for this year, until one of our group members heard a rumor of them going permanent so they contacted the owners (Mickie) because they had heard the rumor of the campground going permanent only. Mickie confirmed and apologized but left us a group of 12 without a spot for memorial weekend. Mickie said they tried calling a few of us, was unable to reach those she called. Checked with two the group, not one person received a call or message from Hidden Valley Campground. Had we not contacted them and showed up Memorial weekend, we would have been turned away! Not a good way to do business! Luckily we were able to find 3 other campgrounds that had...

I so enjoyed my stay here. Tom is amazing and so laid back. I love that the place isn’t covered with signs of rules. I guess it’s just expected that folks will be respectful of others and that’s enough. Listening to the birds and the creek was so relaxing. Great shower. Only wish it was further from the road, but I could mostly ignore it. $5 for so much wood it lasted me two nights. It was very quiet when I was there in a Saturday in early June so I had my pick of spots. Definitely would go back again if I’m...

The campground is perfect for transient campers along the creek. Tom who I met and Niki who I only spoke to were as friendly and welcoming as you would hope to expect. The grounds are well maintained and although my kids are grown there are plenty of toys to keep them entertained. As a transient I was most impressed with the shower facilities, spacious, clean great pressure with endless hot water. If your passing through or to fish as I am , don't pass this up. The American...
