Rented cabin 71 a week ago and the cabin was closer to the river so pulling in we were met with a beautiful scene! The river had a porch swing and we sat out at night to watch the stars. The cabin has a cute porch with a propane gas grill and a picnic table with a fire pit. The cabin was a good size and had the mini fridge with a microwave and coffee maker. Bunk beds were sturdy but the mattresses were veryyyyyy firm and you could feel all the springs so it was hard for me to sleep in (better than sleeping on the ground in a tent lol). We brought box fans and had them in the windows and it made the cabin a nice cool temperature during the evenings, the outlets need updating because the plugs were very loose but functional. The campground had a lot to offer but we were out in Portland or the beach everyday and did not come back until 8 at night. Used the pool once and it was clean and warm! My daughter loved the playground and asked to go back next year :)

I recently stayed at family and friends campground for 5 nights in a tent. I have nothing but good things to say about this campground. The management and customer service personnel were absolutely amazing. My mom came to visit our site for my birthday and they let her in for free. A few minutes after my mom arrived one of the owners/management team came down to our site with a couple of kids to give me a balloon and a few gifts to wish me a happy birthday. They periodically checked on us to see how our stay was. He was very friendly and kind. Everyone in the office was also very friendly and took care of us with a smile on their face. I highly recommend staying at this campground. WiFi was great. Our site was awesome. Great place to bring your dog and kids. Thank you family and friends for such a great experience.

Was an easy checkin. The office staff was very friendly. Camp sites were extremely close to each other. The site I had was right off the main road (Route 114) to the campground.(lots of traffic). The shower was dirty with a lot of hair. I found it very hard to get into as there is only one indoor shower with many people trying to use the facility. The outdoor pool had a strong odor of urine. On a positive note other campers were very friendly and seem to enjoy the area. The site I stayed at had electric, water, and a picknic table. Thanks for reading.

We booked this campground months in advance and was excited to try a new to us place to camp. Upon checking into the campground the Manager Lisa was very nice and her husband. I felt a good impression from them. The front of the campground has the pool park and office. It looked decent. But then as we pull up to our camper rental and I was disappointed. We booked their camper rental site 38 and it was not the camper that was advertised at all on their site. All the pictures and the whole camper itself was completely different so we were very disappointed. The one we stayed at was ok but not what we reserved. It also had a rotten egg smell when you ran water in the bathroom, some of the lights did not work or were very dim. The bed was comfortable though. The site was small and very dark with over grown trees it made the camper dark too.

The vibe and environment felt off as well compared to other campgrounds we stayed at. The place seemed like it was all an older crowd and more seasonals.

The activities on the Modern America site said one thing for the theme and then your given a paper that says another that was 1000% different.

We walked the campground to check other sites and the tent sites all are closer to the road and loud cause of traffic and even from our site we can hear the traffic so I can’t imagine the tent section.

The lodge rec room was ok. It looked nice but a little out dated. It had a pool table, ping pong table tv and a play area for little kids. The pond in the pictures online also looked bigger but it was tiny.

I feel that if the seasonal section cleaned up a little pruned the trees and cleaned up old leave debris to open it up it would be a little better. We booked purely because of the type of camper that was advertised and the themed weekend but we did not get that so we...

We had a reservation foe 30 days to stay at friends and family campground in Standish maine. On the day of check in we got here around 2pm. Went into office to check in the women Kristy that was working was so pleasant and had no issues checking us into our site. And then a fella name Berry came in and he helped show us where our site was. Before going to the site he stopped to point out where we could find bathhouse and lodge and dumping area.and then showed us to site. The site was very nice plenty of room and property was clean. They offer multiple showers and bathroom are very clean With a fire pit and picnic table for your use when camping. Berry asked if there was anything else we needed before he headed back to office. Later in our stay .. Remind you we were there a month. Berry and Kristy were very helpful if we had any questions. They are great people for sure. They offer alot of things for my 10 year old son to do while we were there. They are both very interactive with the guest to make it a fun and memorable camping trip. Every time you saw either of them it was a wave and how ya doing today and a pleasant conversation it is great to know that they care about the people who stay there and you aren't just campsite number they treat you like family. I would highly recommend if you are in the Standish area in maine and you are looking for a great place to take the family camping or just get away and enjoy some time in the woods you go and stay at friends and family campground. Berry and Kristy will treat you right. I will for sure return to to stay...
