Stayed here one night in early August 2019 on return from family reunion in Iowa. A little challenging to find but well worth it.|Spot: plenty of room for our 33 foot fifth wheel on the concrete slab. Manager was helpful in getting us situated ok and provided some suggestions when it was time to leave.|Noise: NONE. Really surprised given we were next to the Pilot truck stop, but this is like an oasis in the middle of dryness. Very pleasant.|Food: next to a truck stop BUT we chose to unhitch and go into Stanfield and eat (we like to support small towns and businesses.) Found a gem of a place and, though the AC was challenged, the food and people were not. Liked what we saw and ate.|Ease of access: Reasonable...no problems for us or the 40 foot Class A's.|Cable TV: unknown. We were still working then, so we had a travel itinerary that didn't allow much time other than at the reunion. Thus, we don't hook up cable on one-night stays...just hoist our antenna and live with over-the-air signals.|SUMMARY: very nice stay...easy access...quiet and peaceful...really a gem that shows how nice things can be with a caring...
Read moreWe happened to this truck stop for an RV wash and fuel. It was on the back end leg of our trip and we were ready to stop for the day. We had no idea that there was an RV park behind this place. We called and got a spot for our 43 foot rig. We weren't expecting much but when we pulled in, we were greeted by the nicest camp hosts and an IMMACULATE property. Again, this is behind the truck rest area. The landscaping was nice, the park was quiet, the site was level, and hookups were a breeze. We had cable, water, sewer, and 50amp service. We got a discounted military rate but even without it, this park is a steal for what you get! I am currently sitting in a park in Montana that claims to be a "resort" with a third less amenities. We could not believe this was a truck stop. We never heard any disturbing noises from the trucks and did not "feel" like we were at a truck stop. If you are lucky enough to get into this place, grab it while you can. But don't use A1...
