Thank God we're back on track with regular porta potty maintenance. Last year was baaaad. Pump water is only slightly rusty tasting. Lots of plane traffic going into Dulles. Can slightly hear music from the water park across the river. Saw a bald eagle nesting in the area and flying by often. Otherwise isolated from nearby stuff and...

It's a small campsite but I don't imagine it gets much use. There is a water spigot but they have it turned off in the winter. There is also a port-a-pottie that is pretty regularly maintained. There's only one picnic bench but there are several...

Great spot. Right off the trail. Very close to the 26 mile marker. Porta pottie was right there and easy. Water easy to get to in the river. Plenty of scrap wood for fire. Picnic table good.
