I'm used to staying at Budget motels and this one is just fine. Good value at $49.99 plus tax for two people with AAA discount. Came out to just shy of 54 bucks.||||Getting to hotel is about 5 minutes from the interstate. The road was very dark as the hotel is pretty isolated and was not near the main part of town. Check-in was very easy. Staff member was very friendly and helpful. A smile at 2:00am after driving for many hours goes a long way! ||||Room was one of the cleanest I have stayed at for a budget motel. Bathroom was spotless. I am used to seeing hairs and stains, but this bathroom was very clean. Couple of towels and face cloths provided. Almost certain the staff at the front would have provided me with more if I would have asked. ||||Bed was pretty standard, but clean and well kept. Cable TV included and worked fine. Room was non-smoking and did not smell of smoke. Bed-side lamp bulb was dead, but other lights worked fine and this didn't bother us. Room comes with a mini fridge too.||||Check-out by 11am. ||||Good cheap place to stay for those passing...
Read moreI have been staying at the motel for about 25 years. It was bought out and remodeled. The owners have always treated me well and give me a drivers discount however it has doubled in price over the years. It is the only motel around and they know they got you. The parking lot is paved, small but big enough to park a semi tractor trailer and you can park at your door. The room I stayed in was a non smoking room and smelled ok. The only problem with this room was the very slick tile floor in the bathroom when it got wet, I stepped out of the tub and fell. The A/C worked well but the front cover was broke. A few stains on the new carpet, it had a fridge and it also worked well. All of the two electrical outlets worked and it has great wifi. Over all, good place and I'll continue...
Read moreI got a good night's sleep at this mom and pop Budget Inn. Sonny and Jothi were delightful, and meeting Tej was a surprise treat. If you like well-behaved floofy white dogs, definitely ask for Tej :)
The price was a little on the steeper side for what I would normally pay for motels (I drive cross country a lot for work and typically sleep in my car to save on costs) - but I was developing a neck cramp and really needed a good mattress to straighten out.
Do not expect any amenities other than the bare necessities. Truly this is just a haven if you are a frequent, low-budget traveler like me and needed to splurge $80 for a good night's sleep.
Thanks Jothi, Sonny and Tej! If I am ever in the area again when I need a bed, I will come back - just so I can give Tej more...
