This campground was great overall! Bathrooms and showers are clean and all of the staff are really kind/friendly. I saw a few reviews about noisy neighbors and we did encounter some too, but I kind of expect that at private campgrounds so it didn't bother me. We had 4 cars, 4 tents and 7 people and were all able to fit at one campsite which was amazing! The only negative was that the campsite was on rocks/gravel so it was very tough to sleep (see photo). We didn't see anything on their website or in my emails with the owner indicating that it wouldn't be grass, otherwise I would have brought sleeping pads. That said I would definitely come back and recommend to others, I would just recommend bringing sleeping pads in case you are placed at a gravel site.

A few of my friend's and myself came to this campground over Memorial Day weekend. It was extremely well maintained and our campsite was beyond beautiful. We booked the Overlook site which is a campsite for tenting. It featured a very secluded area of the campground where you were not too close or too far from other people. You had an extremely gorgeous view of the mountain at the end by 3 big rocks. We all enjoyed our stay with Cranberry Run and will be returning again very soon. The staff were super friendly and the other camper's were very nice. 10/10. Kid and family friendly all around. Overall, an extravagant weekend with many things to do in the surrounding areas. This is what camping is.

Honestly the place is pretty getto. The office is hardly open you have to call for the people who live there to come to the office. The guy owner is VERY RUDE! The bathrooms are scary. The staff if there is any…. don’t come around the campground at all. We slept in a tent and it worked but I couldn’t image taking a RV into that campground. The place is very unkept and the pictures a deceitful. The pathway to the campground is full of potholes. The water also has a nasty smell. The photos I attached were of the “nice bathroom” the other bathroom is legit a cabin.

WORST CAMPSITE EVER!!! I have never written a bad review in my life but God this deserve one. To start off they charged us $15 EACH PER NIGHT which to some may not be a lot. Although compared to other campsites that charge per car it was uncomfortable for us. The playground was not even legit, it was old, rusty, and on a hill so it was not safe for young kids. The roads were gravel and extremely unsafe. My younger cousin fell while going down a hill on his bike and scraped his face and shoulder. Luckily it was not a serious injury. After that no one wanted to ride the bikes. It wasn't even near the delaware river and driving to it was inconvenient, we even got lost getting there. The pond didn't even look clean what so ever. Aside from charging us $15 per night we had to buy wood ($10 a bag) because of some BS that we couldn't get branches or twigs out of the woods. The bags of wood burned out quick, it did not last. What made me upset me the most was that we asked asked to elderly woman at what time we could leave on our last day (which was on a sunday) and she said at any time. So on Sunday we took out time to pack up and then around 2 pm when we were all done and the younger kids and I decided to take a quick swim before we left. We get there and the elderly lady in at the deck with all her elderly friends and sheven gave me a look as if saying what are you guys doing here and says "check out was at 11" and repeat to her what she said to me the night we checked in and all she did was repeat "check our was at 11." To top it all one of her elderly friends (WHO DID NOT EVEN WORK THERE) Say "it's 2 that's almost another days pay" which enraged me because she basically called me a liar and allowed some one who did not even work there put in his imput. Not even her husband said anything to us when he passed by our campsite multiple times, he mentioned nothing about the check out time being at 11. P.S They try to sweeten you up that they even have an arcade but you have to pay for all of the games separately. DON'T GO HERE WORST PLACE AND WORST SERVICE!!! THERE...

We stood here for the first time, we were a large family group of 20. I have been camping before but never in the Poconos always in the castskills this time we decided to go and give the Poconos a try and after a very long research we decided to choose this campsite. We were greeted by one of the owners Mike he was very nice to us. We checked in on August 3rd. Everyone in our group loved the site everything was good except for the last day we were there, the owners were gone for the rest of our stay and they left someone in charge of the site. On the second day our kids were playing with water balloons and he came to my group to tell them that they had to make sure we don't leave the balloons on the ground there wasn't no problem with him saying that and they picked up as much balloons off the ground but it got dark and they probably missed some. Most of my group left and only 9 of us stood that night. At around almost 11:00pm he came didn't even say nothing to us just took out a flash light and started looking all over the ground he then started blaming us for others trash that were on the road side off our site that did not belong to us he spoke very nasty to us I didn't know who he was because the first time he came to my group I was out hiking so when he came the second time he didn't even introduce himself just took out the flash light and started talking to us like if he was our father saying that the garbage on the side road was us and the garage needs to be thrown out we tried to tell him we that we was still barbecuing and as soon as we finish we will throw it out he wasn't even letting us talk just kept running his mouth about the trash on the road that wasn't ours. When he left we picked up the trash even if it wasn't ours just to shut his mouth. We was having such a beautiful time in the campsite and he messed it up. This all happened when the owners were gone and left him in charge. Other then that and the fact that the campsite area we had didn't have enough grass and too much rocks everything...

My friends and I had a wonderful time for our long weekend stay. Ellen was incredibly flexible especially since my originally predicted large group of 12 had dwindled down to 6 and some had different check-in and check-out days. I have already told my friend group that we will be returning next year to explore more of the Water Gap trails. Our campsites were in the previously hike-in sections and were great sizes. The mountain is made up of what looked like shale so bring a mattress pad and hammer for your tent stakes. We had very little mosquitoes when we were visiting, which was a pleasant surprise. If you have a car that is very low to the ground I would let Ellen know. The road up the small hill to the newer sites had some pot holes, but with the runoff from the rain it would be futile for them to be constantly grading the roads. Staff were extremely friendly and the campground was well kept.

The showers do need a make over, but bathrooms are expensive to update so we couldn't really complain. I, myself, am just always glad to have running water and working toilets and showers available. My suggestion would be to add a wall box to each shower so that guests can store their belongings up off the floor. The floors in the showers can puddle quickly so a shower squeegee with a long pole placed in each one may be a cheap and easily purchased help. This way guests can move the water to the drain. Also, I wonder if different shower heads could be installed that spray the water directly downwards onto the floor instead of out into the back of the shower like they do now. That may help to keep the water more towards the drain side.

Overall, we had a great time...
