Sportsman's Getaway Lodge — Hotel in Stuttgart

Wow! ❤️ Sure beats a hotel room!!! We were in Dewitt to visit family and made a last minute decision to get this little cabin. We rented "The Man Cave" (we are two middle aged ladies, sisters 😁) and let me tell you, this was the BEST PLACE! It has everything you need to feel right at home, and the owners were just the sweetest people ever! We were able to have our entire family come over for a bonfire and marshmallow roasting with us! There's a covered grill out area and fire pit, a laundry room, a full kitchen, spacious bathroom and enough beds for the whole family! There's plenty of games (horseshoes, checkers, dominoes, and more!) and TV's inside and on the porch! The south facing porch has full shade all day and a ceiling fan that kept it cool enough to sit outside together in Southeast Arkansas in July!!! The kids had TONS of room for running around and playing in the yard, and the grass was soft and recently cut. We loved it so much we decided to stay an additional night (3 nights in all) and we probably saved around $100 or so VS staying in any of the hotels in the area. They have 3 lodges in all, and the one we rented was the smallest of them, but we had plenty of room and literally everything except groceries was provided for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for ANY type of stay, hunting/fishing or just a family vacation. Peaceful and cozy and an excellent price for everything you get to enjoy. 10/10 I'd give it 100...

Jeff and Michelle are such great people to work with and their only desire is that you have a wonderful time while staying with them. They go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need and are comfortable with them. We stayed 02/13/2021 through 02/16-2021 while snow goose hunting during the worst winter storm in years. They checked on us daily, multiple times a day and even came and cleared the porch of snow and ice one day while we were hunting (completely unexpected)... This was my first time to stay in the Man Cave but have stayed previously at the Duck House. Will definitely be staying with these folks any and every time we are in the Stuttgart/DeWitt area. If you are looking to hunt or fish the Dewitt/Stuttgart area, this is the place to be. Michelle and her husband were very accommodating. The lodge was clean and beds were comfortable. We sat by the fire with firewood provided by the lodge. Michelle’s husband even filled up the can of diesel to light the wet wood after it had been raining.
