A-OK MOTEL WAURIKA OK — Hotel in Sugden

PilotCar rate for one person one night was $60, tax included. Room was clean, a few dead crickets in the corners but I didn’t see any live critters! It did smell of bug spray when I first walked in, which led me to thoroughly check the whole unit and I’m glad I didn’t find anything! Owner and wife very accommodating, nice bed, pillows and an extra blanket was already provided. The a/c unit took a while to cool the room but I had brought a small fan with me so that helped circulate the air. I always check and clean the a/c filter in every motel room I stay, and this one was very clean! Truck parking, pet friendly, smoking rooms, and I’m sure the owners are updating as they go along, so one day they’ll have the coded key cards but for now all rooms have regular keys.
