We stayed here at a treehouse a few weeks ago. The room itself was nice enough but very small. The ac worked great in the room because it was so tiny so we were up a lot during the night either freezing or hot. The last morning I couldn’t remember when check out was so I looked in the guest book and it said noon so we took a nap before we were to receive a free shuttle with our kayaks up river to float. It was a little after 11 when I called for a shuttle and the owner appeared to be very irritated that we were still there at the cabin. She stated that she told me in an email that check out was at 11. Well, update the guest book then! I forgot with being so tired and everything else I was planning! And she said she was gone off the property already so no shuttle. And the day before she had someone else shuttle us and we were to supposed to call this person when we were done floating for a ride back to the cabin. The person that dropped us off arranged for our pickup in a dead zone for cell service and we walked miles after being on the river for like 5 hours before we could finally contact our ride. It literally took like 1 he 45 minutes. And she said she had worked at the campground we got picked up at for years so she had to know there was no cell service there. Sooo….the free shuttle service needs worked on. It ruined both days we were there. The door codes were all totally guessable and need to be changed to be safe. The rooms were nice enough and the deer on property was super cute. Her husband seemed nice when we talked to him about the deer. We were hoping to find a friendly place to stay near the rivers where we could bring our own kayaks and not have to pay an arm and a leg to get a ride 10 minutes upriver like all the big outfitters charge. Thought we found it...
Read moreWe had another fantastic 4th of July weekend at Tiny House Adventures! Tina went above and beyond to make our stay special—from guiding us to Little St. Louis for a relaxing float down to our favorite hangout spot, to generously letting our large group use the pavilion’s spacious kitchen. It was the perfect setting for a fun, family-filled getaway.
Tina’s property has everything you could possibly need—whether it’s a raft, kitchen supplies, or even bug spray. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality make all the difference. We’re so grateful for her kindness and can’t recommend her place enough. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with a host who truly cares, this is the place to...
Read moreTina and her Husband are tremendous people. We have brought our RV here now twice. The first time was unplanned, we were supposed to stay at Ozark outdoor, and the river flooded and Ozark had to emergency evacuate. With no place to go, and a full camp ground, tina let us stay on their parking lot, provided us with power and water. They are truly wonderful people. They have earned our business every time we come down for riding...
