Crafty Crop Inn — Hotel in Summerfield Township

I have been here several times already and I have NEVER been disappointed. It has already changed and improved so much since the first time I stayed and the owners are on top of every and anything that needs done and open to any and all suggestions. Speaking of the owners, they couldn't be any nicer or accommodating and they always have the Inn in tip-top shape, clean and comfortable. It is so peaceful and quiet, it's close enough to "things", yet far enough away that one feels like she is REALLY getting away from it all, when it is only a 20 minute drive N on 23 from the OH/MI border and about 35 minutes from my home in West Toledo

The Inn itself is quaint, quiet, and well-appointed. The kitchen is well-stocked with any and everything one might need to fix a meal. Large fridge with ice maker, crockpots, pizza pans, Keurig and regular coffee maker, and so much more. They have thought of everything!! And there is always fresh drinking water from a water cooler.

There are two full bathrooms with no shortage of towels and washcloths, plus select toiletries to use if one forgets something.

The bedrooms are so sweet, each with a different theme and comfortable beds (of the ones I have slept in), and literally soundproofed from downstairs so if you are an "early-to-bed" type and your friends are riotously cropping downstairs you would absolutely never even know!

The crop room itself is very well lit, both naturally by its plentiful windows as well as with many lights so it is easy to crop well into the night, as I generally do. Comfortable rolling desk chairs and a full 6-foot table all to oneself! That is worth $85 right there!! There are varying tools on hand guests can play with, as well as a small "store" of items one can purchase there and Jennifer, the owner, also sells Close to my Heart so in addition to anything she has on hand one could also place an order with her and she is definitely NOT pushy about selling so one never feels obligated or harassed to make a purchase.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Ever-changing (for the better) and such a happy and comfortable atmosphere full of positive energy to be creative and be oneself. It's even decorated with the owners own crafty works with layout, card, and project ideas. Staying here with your friends to scrapbook, as I do, or quilt will be the best time...

I absolutely LOVE the Crafty Crop Inn!! It's a very warm and welcoming environment. It's extremely clean and the owner's, Mark & Jenn, have done a lot of work remodeling and making things work for crafters.
