Arrived as part of family gathering around a significant anniversary, a bit worried about the 'nonrefundable' booking requirement.||||The location is outstanding, close enough to Rapid City to be accessible for restaurants, etc., distant enough to allow enjoyment of a peaceful and beautiful setting alongside Rapid Creek - no noise, stars aplenty, and wildlife. The location is also convenient to many side trips in the Black Hills, more or less equidistant from Deadwood, Lead, Custer, Needles Highway, Mt. Rushmore to name a few. ||||The house is roomy and comfortable, and is very well appointed in terms of furnishings, appliances, kitchen accessories and eating utensils. Nothing was missing. Its three bedrooms accommodated our group of six family members and friends without difficulty.||||And to top it off, we had an ejoyable visit from one of the owners, who spent some time introducing himself and providing suggestions for sites and services in the area. ||||I strongly remommend this property if you are seeking a quiet, no hassle getaway - if you're looking for a party house,...

This bed and breakfast used to be one of our favorites 20 years ago. It has no breakfast and name is misleading and not true. It is now rundown. Hot tubs are very old, missing heads, loud and need to be replaced. Hot tub covers are shot. Decks have peeled paint and not kept up. Trees, shrubs and bushes need trimming. Screen door(s) are old and off the hinges. Did I mention Bugs. Sewer back ups. Beds and mattresses are old and needed to be replaced 20 years ago. Owners no where to be found.
