Big River Campground — Hotel in Sunriver

Our experience wasn't great here, but that's mostly due to circumstances. Our camping neighbors were awful and there wasn't a host at the time to complain to. But considering it didn't cost anything (I think it's supposed to, but the information was removed) and it did at least have a restroom, it served us just fine. Great location, right on the river, and only 10 small campsites, but no camp host. 1 bathroom. So when you have very noisy neighbors, it's not always fun when you're trying to sleep. It says one car is allowed, but there's actually room for 2 or more. You just have to pay for the extra vehicle. Place was fine because it was free. It’s right by the road so you hear cars every now and then and a family is definitely living in their Dutchman RV on the site. They were yelling all night chasing their dog and literally speeding out in their car after an argument and coming back shortly after.
