Fall River Campground — Hotel in Sunriver

Fall River was beautiful! We stayed in site 4, and it was about 40 meters from the river, which was nice. We saw multiple fish in the river and enjoyed the trail along the banks. Campsites are nice sized and with decent privacy from neighbors, along with ample shade. There were surprisingly no mosquitoes, and that was very appreciated. It was one of the dustiest campgrounds we've ever stayed in. The dust was a little overwhelming. No water, so come prepared! Pit toilets are fine and well maintained. This is a great spot - beautiful, quiet, clean outhouse, and minimal bugs. We visited Aug 2025. We camped at spot 7 - this is a beautiful site that is large and has great access to the river. It pretty much shares a site with zero privacy to spot 8, but everyone was nice so we didn’t mind. Spot 4 felt like the best based on privacy, access to water, and set up with an RV. One of my few favorites anymore. Small, quite, draws a pretty respectful crowd. People keep it clean (though this time around someone didnt pick up after their very large dog and it pooed in the toilet and drive and camp and swimming area). Ranger is friendly. Camp is small (maybe 14 spots). They have first come camp sites and some reserved (reserved is annoying to me when this used to be just first come first getting the spot).
