This little motel is an odd mixture of good and bad. First the good; the units are separated by open-front garages that insulate from sounds that may come from the next unit. The room was small, but clean, and came with a TV, a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm even in January. The price for two people was average at $55.00. ||And then the bad; maintenance was terrible. The first thing that greets you is a gaping hole in the screen door. The water was as hard as any I've ever encountered and both the sink spigot and the shower head were encrusted with calcium. The shower drain was sluggish and gurgled as though it was not vented. There was a new florescent light, but the shell of the old one was still on the wall. ||A railroad runs just across the street and trains pass every half hour or so. If you are a light sleeper, you won’t get much. The bottom line is, there are better choices just a few miles...

Also, you’ll get a nice view of the local wildlife when you inevitably find a spider the size of a 1975 Buick in the shower. Save your money, and stay...

Carpet was probably there before the hotel was built. ||||Each room comes with its own garage, which is sweet for parking your luxury mobile in after a long trip down the dirty 30. The rate was 75 per night for a room with 4 (4 too many) per room. ||||This hotel is so wierd and unique it's almost worth the pounding that you take from the rate. It's true value is probably closer to them paying you.||||There is also no restaurants in town, so your far better off staying in Paxton where the nightlife burns with the heat of 1000 suns and top shelf local talent tickles the ivory until the sun creeps above the local Sand...
