Walker Creek Farms & Cabins — Hotel in Sutton

WOW! Stayed in Hickory Hut yurt last weekend. First, I had to reschedule with short notice due to a work issue. They worked with me to get rescheduled at no extra charge. I was a little concerned about the hot tub for the yurt. The pictures make it look like an old tin tub big enough for one person. Nope! Plenty of room for two! This was an extremely relaxing, well maintained property. Very clean and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! Great fishing ponds and hiking trails, too! This place is a little 'remote,' so you'll definitely want to bring snacks, food, and drinks. The fridge is bigger than dorm size, but not full size, so if you're there more than a weekend you'll need a cooler as well. The Pizzas and Cream restaurant up the road was really good. Also, don't be cheap, pay the extra $5 and get the wifi hit spot. All in all, we can't wait to...

Walker Creek Farms is a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by all that Mother Nature has to offer. The cabins will take you back to simpler times, making it easy to focus on your family and friends. The amenities are plentiful and modern. The entire family enjoyed our time at WCF, and we can’t wait to return; the view from the one of a kind, vintage hot tub, to the countless challenges of checkers and Scrabble, and enjoying the sway of the many rocking chairs and porch swings. Slowing down and leaving behind the hustle and bustle of our busy, everyday lives was enjoyed here! The many, stocked ponds are beautiful, and the endless trails into nature are there waiting for you to explore. Daniel and his family were very hospitable and made sure our stay was perfect! Love doesn't even cover my experience here! Farm fresh chicken eggs straight from the coop! With a fridge stocked complimentary with a good breakfast! All necessary utensils for cooking are provided! Extremely clean!!! You can fish in the pond using the paddle boat and tour the farm or lay in the hammock! Start a fire with fresh wood stocked every day! Not to mention we had car troubles and they were more than ok with us rolling over an extra night! Misty went above and beyond for us and I know they will for you too! 10/10 would recommend!Ohhhh take me home...
