Riverbend Campground — Hotel in Tamworth

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Riverbend Family Campground. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. The two sites that we booked had plenty of space for our large family and we liked that they were tucked away on the edge of the grounds. The bathhouses were sparkling clean throughout our entire stay and were frequently cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. The location was convenient to several swimming areas. The kids enjoyed the playground and we appreciated the cleanliness of the pool area. I spent my Labor day weekend Saturday, Sunday and left Monday here at Riverbend RV Resort. I was very happy when i arrived. there was very little to go off of when booking this place. there was only one review on google and i could only find a few other reviews on another site. These sites have electric, sewer and water. some plots have a fire pit some do not. the main reason i picked this place is because they are Dog friendly! The owners were very down to earth and friendly. I would say this place is a very quite family oriented place to get away. I don't think it would be very welcomed if you came with a rowdy crowd. 10/10 recommended. 10/10 will return. We shared a short but excellent stay at Riverbend. We staged our camper van in one of the very well maintained tent sites by the river with water and electric hookups. We had no issues getting into the site and setting up. The pool is a short walk from any site and was perfectly clear and refreshing to go for a summer swim. The bathrooms and showers were sparkling clean and fresh every morning.
