Called a day before (this past Monday) and made reservations for overnight stay for the following day (arriving on Tuesday, leaving on Wednesday) for two people. When we got there, we put all our stuff in our bungalow and put on our swimwear ready to hit the pools. Excited for a day of relaxation. To make a long story short, we found two pools closed due to repair issues out of the five total they have. These two were the best ones, the outside hot pool and mid-temperature pool. I was upset that I had called a day before and there was no mention of these pools being closed by the older Korean lady that owns or manages the place (and yes she speaks and understands English). It was clear to me it was more important for her to make money then to properly inform her guests of the situation. Since we were already there, we made the decision to stay but only if I can get some sort of discount to compensate for their mistake for not properly informing us. The Korean lady was having none of it. As soon as I mentioned discount, she refused and said "you go then". She quickly went into her pocket to get the $180 I had paid for overnight stay and handed it to me. Hesitating a little before handing me the cash. I didn't even get a chance to say how much of a discount, she just flat out refused and preferred to loose the entire amount. Very unprofessional on her part especially as it was her mistake, and that mistake was going to impact our stay significantly. As we were leaving and had loaded everything back to the vehicle. She came up to us and said that she was going to try to open up the pools (because I noticed another guest there with children also complaining about the same thing). I told her it was too late, we had already packed everything and that her chance to make things right had passed. If you're planning to come here make sure you ask if the pools are open, because they clearly won't tell you and make you come and waste your time. But even better advice is to skip this place altogether and go to Murrieta Hot Springs. I found it on Google once we left this place and it's a light years better than this place. Modern beautiful and not run down like this place. If you're a locally the charge $49 for day use. (They charge $45 for...

Wow! This is a HIDDEN gem close to home! We stopped at Elim Hot Springs before it was open to the public and we were so excited at the prospect of a hot springs less than 2 hours from home. Now that we've finally had a chance to experience it I am sold! The facility offers 3 therapeutic hot springs (each one different in heat and intensity) a VERY cold pool and a tepid pool to enhance the therapeutic process.

The views from the cold pools are amazing! You truly feel like you're out in nature. This facility is rustic which to me adds to the therapeutic experience. There's plenty of space so you don't feel cramped and overwhelmed by too many visitors especially when the point is to relax!

Elim offers a day pass for use of the facility and you can also reserve a cabin for an overnight stay which is completely worth the price! If you elect to spend the night, you must bring your own blankets and pillows since these are not provided.

The cabins were clean, the restrooms and grounds were kept tidy.

There's a picnic table and grill outside each cabin. The picnic table is shaded which is nice. There's also a community space with a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and can you believe it - pots and pans! You can bring your own food and drink which I highly recommend and grill to your heart's content!

An added treat on site were the peacocks, llamas and other animals which were lovely to look at.

Definitely recommend you try this out! Way more affordable than Glen Ivy!!! Experience nature in a hot spring not far from home but...

It was nice with great views, did not realize the day use price was for use until 5pm we did not arrive until 230 so when the lady came to tell us to leave we went to the website and noticed it said for $35 you can stay 8am to 9pm but we paid $30 for day use until 5pm so we went to offer $10 a piece more to stay until 9 she said it would cost $30 more a piece.... so that was very confusing🤔 but she allowed us to stay one more hour which was nice considering we were basically the only ones there. We were also confused after calling they said you must wear a face shield so I asked if masks were OK and was told yes but when we arrived we were forced to buy a plastic face shield for $5. We bought the shield but when we were the only ones there in the pool we took them off because they steam up and you can't see lol.... she came and told us we had to keep them on in the tub. I understand they have a liability but you don't have to wear a mask outdoors when no one is within 6ft so I found that to be a little weird and annoying considering we were a party of 2. We also made the mistake of attempting to drink beers in cans and we were reprimanded for that also. So all and all its a beautiful property but even if your alone they are watching 👀 you 😆 if your willing to wear a steamy face mask and have no adult beverages available unless you walk wet to your car which is not close on a cold day then it is a perfectly enjoyable place especially if you go...
