We had the opportunity to find this amazing gem in Paso Robles! From the moment that you enter the gates of Farm Blanc et Rouge, you feel the welcoming hospitality of this beautiful farm. This is not your average Airbnb, think more of a charming bed and breakfast in the middle of beautiful wine country. It was truly an unforgettable experience for us.
The farm has three choices of accommodations. One has a two bedroom, the other is a one bedroom and the third is a bedroom inside a VERY chic remodeled barn. All have full kitchens. The decor is probably the most amazing part of this place! The rooms and barn are very eloquently decorated to fit the ambiance of this property. The bed was so incredibly cozy and comfortable. ššš
We stayed at LeCoop which is the one bedroom accommodation. Le Coop had everything we needed. Soaps, towels, snacks, and they thought of everything guests may need.
We had a wonderful surprise from Natalie, fresh eggs and croissants on our first morning. (There is a chicken coop on the farm) We rode our bikes and hiked throughout their 42 acres and enjoyed the amazing views of Paso Robles and the adjacent vineyards. Our favorite winery Austin Hope is on the same entry road to the farm. The property is in the perfect location and on the same route to all local wineries, which makes it so convenient. We also rode our bikes to downtown (oh and by the way, our motorized bikes were delivered and picked up)
In addition, the barn is so well appointed it is perfect for a wedding or other event.
I simply canāt say enough about this place. I am planning to return soon, only this time, I will bring my entire family and rent the whole place!
Thank you Glen and Natalie for making our stay so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen is the moment you realize you have stumbled upon something special? I mean, the moment you discover a secret spot you'd rather keep for yourself. Is it when a paved road turns into a dirt road? Is it when the beautifully welcoming coded gate slowly opens to your arrival like you're peering through the wardrobe doors into Narnia? Our week at Farm Blanc et Rouge was nothing short of extraordinary. It may be hard to believe but photos of Natalie and Glen's farm do not do it justice. Photos do not show their generous love or gracious hospitality. THAT'S what makes a place special. However, attention to quality & detail sends charm, character and reviews over the top! Of course, 42 acres to hide, getting lost hiking through the enchanting oaks, listening to nature, riding bikes, playing pickleball in town, eating in or out, sitting by a fire, begging the chickens for an egg, discovering wild animal tracks, listening to the owls at night, visiting the winery next door or the dozens down the road and taking a short drive to the coast to watch a thousand Elephant Seals give birth on the shoreline doesn't hurt either! This a truly one of those stays you'll never forget. Ours was exceptional, but shhhh, don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFarm Blanc et Rouge is such a magical place. The website photos are excellent but you have to experience itā¦the accommodations are superb, the scenery gorgeous and the peace and quiet wonderful. There are nice hiking trails on the property and beyond. The sunset and full moon were gorgeous.
We stayed at the farm for a yoga retreat and it was perfect for this type of activity. The red barn is wonderfully decorated and gets a beautiful breeze for yoga. We also had a chef chosen by Natalieā¦the hostā¦and our brunches and dinner were excellent.
The location is secluded, yet close to everything. Natalie is an excellent host and knows so much about the area and wineries and restaurants to recommend. She was also kind enough to bring us fresh farm eggs, fruit and apple fritters from the local bakery for breakfast the morning we checked out. Service is just above and beyond. You will love staying here. I would...
