The campground itself isn’t terrible but it was hard for us to believe this was a Yogi campground. We have camped at a few different Yogi resorts throughout Ohio and this by far was unlike any other. The trip started off sour when we were charged $7.50 for being 25 minutes early. We live over 2 hours away so we were trying allot ourselves enough time to travel/take restroom breaks/ etc so to be charged additional for being 20 minutes early was silly. In addition, we were not given an activity agenda like every other Yogi we’ve visited. Not a huge deal but when I called the office to ask for one I was told to “check the app.” Cell service there is patchy so a paper handout would have been handy. Not to mention the ones we did take our kids to that were supposed to have Yogi there, He wasn’t and my kids were let down. Cartoons and Coloring with Yogi consisted of blank TV screen and a ‘help yourself to crayons and coloring pages’ layout. No staff, cartoons or Yogi.. Don’t even get me started on the layout of the campground. The “pool” was a half mile walk down a hilly, muddy, dirt path to someone’s back yard and was smaller than some above ground pool’s I have seen in housing developments. It barely had 4 lounge chairs on one side and dogs barking at that particular property. We didn’t even go swimming. It could probably comfortably fit 12 people. The photos online are very deceiving. They advertise something completely different. I paid nearly double than I would at other Yogi resorts that were WAY nicer. There is also only one restroom house on the entire property which makes it hard to even want to take your children swimming or to the pond if they need to go potty it would be a 10 minute walk from the pool Itself and a lengthy hike from the pond as well and as we all know, kids always have to take frequent potty breaks. We ended up buying a plastic pool and put it at our site. Certainly not worth the $300.

The site that we are currently staying in is nothing like the pictures online (I am more than happy to share photos.) I contacted the owner, he talked down to me, continually interrupted me and even raised his voice trying to intimidate me. The site has serious concerns. Such as the Nextdoor cabin fire pit is located less than 6ft from where I am suppose to park my brand new truck. There is only gravel, no grass for 12ft outside of our camper. Our site appears to be a driveway or turnaround and numerous ppl have tried to drive through, Esp with golf carts. I raised my concerns and unhappiness to the owners and they argued and talked down to me. The husband raised his voice and essentially yelled at me basically telling me we could pack up and leave. This has not been a great experience so far and I am not sure I will ever stay at a jellystone or recommend one to anyone in the future. I also contacted Jellystone directly and they rerouted my email to the owners. They said it’s wide gravel lot to make exit and entry easier. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I’m not interested in camping in a parking lot….

To start, the restrooms were clean. Very quiet during the week when the ground was almost empty. We had a full hook up with patio spot for our RV. Campsite #74 is far from child friendly, and definitely not worth what the price was. We stayed here only since all other campgrounds were booked full from Sept 19 to Sept 27. We have no children, so the price of the campgrounds for us was a bit much since we used NONE of the child attractions. But, the site was downright dangerous. It had a "patio", I guess. It was a broken, falling apart deck. The main beam on the front edge was split in half, and sagged there, and was not safe to walk on at that end. Loose boards on the front right corner sagged under your footstep. Multiple raised board edges across the surface were a constant tripping hazard. Raised nail and screw heads were a danger to bare feet, and the feet of our dogs. Nails protruding out the bottom of the deck boards that overhung the stringer beams were an impaling hazard, as were the 4 large woods screws that stuck into the gravel area between the bottom of the RV steps and the side of the deck. This patio should be replaced, and it is disappointing we paid extra for this dangerous amenity. To the back of the patio, where our main door was located, there was a large area dug out, so there was an uneven depression in the ground, about 4' in diameter and up to a foot deep, as well as a couple smaller dug out areas behind that along the woods edge, which made for fun walking at night. But at least all the grass area had large river stones all over the place, as if walking on the dilapidated patio or crater ridden ground wasn't ankle twisting enough. Also, the sewer drains is an uncapped pipe, nothing to screw the sewer pipe adapter into, so at least the stink of sewer was ever present. And lastly, the piece or junk fire ring should be an embarrassment for you as a company. It was a piece of a rotted out 55 gallon drum, rusted out, jagged as a serrated knife and sharp as one as well on either side, with a huge caved in side. It was so burned out and thin, pieces of firewood leaning inside it would tip it over during use, and distort the shape. I asked for a new one at the office, but the girl said they had a rash of them being stolen, and didn't think they could replace it, but said she would see what she could do. Considering the campground was almost empty during the week, I'm sure they could have gotten us a better one. We swapped ot out 2 days later with the empty campsite beside us. Very disappointed in the site, won't see our business again I'm...

I really wanted to love this place. We’re frequent campers and we’ve been to a few Jellystones throughout Michigan & Indiana. This place does not compare to other Jellystones and is really not worth what they’re charging.

The lake is a lot of fun. The floating slide is awesome! All of the kids loved it. The staff were all great, really nice, and engaging to the children. A+ in that department! The scenery around the campground is beautiful! The rolling hills are gorgeous.

The kids loved the playground & amenities. I think they fell short. This campground hands down has the worst layout I think I’ve ever seen in a campground. I guess it’s fine if you’re willing to shell out the $$$ for a golf cart, but after paying $250+ to stay for 3 days and $7.50 per small bundle of wood (don’t even get me started on that- I’ve NEVER seen wood go for that much!!!) I was unwilling to spend any more. The pool is on the other side in the owners backyard. You either have to walk around the lake and up a hill, or you have to exit the campground, park across the street, and walk through the owners yard to get to it. The pool was refreshing but so dirty. Each time before I swam I spent 20 minutes scooping out bugs & debris. There was even a dead mouse in there. I get it, it’s in the country, but with what they’re charging the pool could’ve been maintained a little more. The play area is in front where everyone enters/exits, so that made me nervous. Sites are very close together, which we were expecting so not a deal breaker.

They don’t hand out info about the activities. You can use the app, but when we used it it wasn’t accurate. Some activities weren’t listed, and others were supposed to happen but didn’t (movies, foam fun). A few people I talked to weren’t aware of the app, so I really think a handout would be appreciated by all!

They claim it’s “next to” Hocking hills attractions, but it’s like a 30 minute drive. There’s nothing around the campground, it’s really in the middle of nowhere. Fill up before you come here.

Finally, the dump station. It’s in a bad location right next to a site. The rinse hose was broken in multiple places. We couldn’t properly clean out our tank. When you use it you get soaked. It lacked a hose fitting to screw into the camper, so we put our own on there and left it for the next camper.

Overall this definitely isn’t a bad campground. Without the Jellystone name and price tag attached to it it would be fine. IMO it’s just not worth what...

I am disappointed with the campground. The website photos are deceiving versus the real property. I went there to enjoy the pool and by reading the other reviews, thought it was supposed to be great! I am not for sure who wrote the other reviews but they are misleading as well! The pool is a good distance from the campsites and up a big hill and it is the Owner's pool behind their house! The pool is very small!!!! It doesn't even have space enough around the pool to sit on a lounge chair if one would be provided...which isn't. The jumping pillow is located in their yard as well near the pool. It was deflated and not blown up. I didn't even see the inflatable slide that is advertised but the weather wasn't very good so they may have not set it up due to that. The first time campers that I spoke to during my first time stay were in shock and felt misled by the website too! The lake was very nice and clear but they didn't have a very big beach to layout on. The paddle boats with the water sprayers that are featured on the website are no where to be found, just regular paddle boats. All of the riding bikes, paddle boats, and canoes cost money, not free like a Jelleystone park (like they try to sound like on their website). The arcade was not impressive! It is a wood shed with an air hockey table and one video game inside it. The camp store is bigger but not too many items and they sell Kraft Amercan Cheese for $5.25...ouch! The bathrooms looked fine to me but I heard the mens was not desirable. I use our own shower so that is not a big deal to me. We rented a premium campsite which is way too expensive for what it was. I didn't even get the gas grill that my premium site was supposed to have. I didn't bother to complain about it because there is a big sign on the window of the camp store that is in (bold and in all caps) stating there will be NO REFUNDS! This is not word for word but it states for you not to bother asking for one and put everybody in an awkward position. I thought that is rude and if you have to have a sign up like that, it only means they have several unsatisfied customers!!!!! The campsites are very close together and they are putting in cable or electric lines and most of the sites were dug up and not covered over which made my premium site even more undesirable. If you are used to going to KOA's and Jelleystone Parks this is NOT the...
