As the manager of the park and new ownership since June of 2016, it has been a very busy summer season. The new owner is the nicest most generous man we have ever met. The park has been full again with campers and monthly guest. The park was in need of some repairs and care when we arrived. There has been some cleaning up of the park and restoring it back to an RV Park and destination Resort. We have a beautiful location and setting, the park is quiet, clean and friendly. We spent the last three months working and making improvements to the park, remodeled the men's restroom, put in playground area, added yurts and hunting cabins, overall cleaning of the park and maintenance after flooding last winter. There was also some needed clean up of guest that were unable to comply with the rules and regulations of the park that weren't being enforced. As managers we are doing our jobs and making the park pleasant for all who come and getting rid of the people that are non-compliant and trouble makers. People who quit coming to the park in past have returned and all the feedback over the summer has been positive and good with people happy about the changes and how nice the park is now. I will say that it has been rough as managers to get rid of the trouble makers and people that would not comply, and we could not have made it through without our campers and most monthly folks support everyday telling us to hang in there. It is amazing to us how 6-7 people can cause so much havoc and misery out of pure meanness of heart. You know who those few are by the reviews you read that were the trouble makers of the park......I wish them well......someplace else! Everyone can now walk the park freely without being accosted by them and their negativity on a daily basis. We thank all the rest for your support. Andrew &...
Read moreWORST RV CAMP EVER DO NOT GO HERE. I would give this place a 0 star if I could My family had to stop by an rv camp during our road trip to dump and use the showers. We told the front desk we wanted to pay for a spot because we needed to dump. The lady replied "no public dumping" with the nastiest attitude and turned her back WALKED AWAY......She refused service for us on the basis that we were only there to dump when we clearly said we would PAY for a spot. I don't know if she understands that if you PAY for a spot you can utilize the amenities however you want and it wouldn't be public dumping if you PAID...maybe she hasn't worked there longer than 2 minutes. Okay fine, we walk out of the office but the lady who refused service to us followed us out to our RV???? Again another family member asked why we couldn't get a spot and her excuse was that we wanted to pay FULL PRICE literally to just use the showers and she couldn't allow that. We told her we are PAYING just like any other guest on the campground and mid conversation she cut us off with a "nope you can't come here" and walked away. Fine, we leave but the she proceeds to TAKE PICTURES OF US. For what reason??? We didn't cause a scene, we didn't cause problems, we simply asked to pay for an RV spot. What was the reasoning behind refusing service? I can't think of anything so I'm left to believe its racial profiling...Whatever it was, this place needs to be SHUT DOWN. TERRIBLE SERVICE,...
Read moreChecking into yurt was a little crazy as Airbnb notice said to email or call on day of arrival for code. This place never answers their phone and I never got an email back when reaching out (about a different matter prior to arrival via airbnb) and to top it off the neighbors in the yurt next to us took our parking spot so we made our own. The office was closed around 3:30 on a Saturday for my check-in. The bathroom didn't have any toilet paper upon arrival, and the yurt sites are not private. You are RIGHT next to the people alongside you. Having the TV in the yurt was nice to watch at night and the futons were mostly comfortable. It can get chilly at night as these aren't the type of yurts you'd find at a State Park with more protection and the road noise is loud from hwy but you could wear ear plugs. Oh and there didn't end up being a code for the yurt as you just unzip each side to open flap door so don't leave anything expensive unattended. All of this to let you know to be prepared, but all in all I would stay again. I did enjoy the ambiance and nature aside from basically sitting outside yurt next to neighbors. There is also a BBQ and picnic table provided to you at your yurt. I wasn't really taking pictures to post, but did attach some. They are pet friendly even though it says not in a couple...
