Shorewood RV Resort — Hotel in Tillamook

I wanna start this review by saying that I rarely give out 5 star reviews.

Reason being that there is always room for improvement.

Doesn't matter what, there is always room to grow.

Let me then go on to say that these people have this down to an art.

They are absolutely killing customer service!

I have never seen such a beautifully maintained RV park.

Here's a few things:

Location, location, location!

You're at most a minute walk from the beach anywhere you are here! Full hookups, public bath house, WiFi, and laundry all inside a gated community. Minutes away from Rockaway and about a half hour drive from Tillamook to the South.

The beach is freaking pristine.I didn't want to leave.

There are no fires allowed in the actual park, but they are allowed on the beach, as it is public.

Bathrooms, while being public, were by far the cleanest that I've seen, with good water pressure and a book exchange!

I plan on staying here again!

After 60 days of traveling the country with a family of 5 living in a 26' travel trailer, we are happy to be home and to share some of our campground reviews. We stayed at Shorewood on July 24-25 in Site 100. Shannon and Ron were fabulous! We only reserved the night before we got there, and they worked hard to get us a site that worked for our family. As soon as we arrived, Ron helped us to our site and made us feel very welcomed. Then we went into the office and had a fun time talking to Shannon and her friend. Our family LOVED the private beach (even though it was so foggy!), and the bathrooms were very clean and cared for. We actually liked that their campground is a well-established rv park that has been in business a really long time. They are absolutely family oriented and kind and considerate. They gave us suggestions about the Tillamook Creamery and other places to visit. We wished we had many more days to stay and hang out in our great site at this sweet campground. Shorewood RV Park is a quiet, private rv park with fulltime rv spots, and overnight spaces, plus beach rentals. There are back-in areas for large and small rv units, as well as their accompanying/tow vehicles. |This is primarily an adult rv park, so there are no amenities for children, however there is the Pacific Ocean within steps of the park with miles of beach and sand. |They have full hookups with cable tv, and a well maintained shower/restroom building. |The staff is very helpful and will always help you with parking your rig. |Enjoy your favorite beverage down by the shore sitting in a Adirondack chair smelling the salt air, or practice your golfing sand shots on the beach. |It's location is convenient to the town of Tillamook for any kind of shopping and a must-do visit to the cheese factory. Rockaway beach proper is 5 minutes from the park.|I return often because of the solitude and proximity to the beach. My small dog loves coming here...
