WasabisNest Lakehouse — Hotel in Tobyhanna Township

This cozy mountain home was the perfect base for our winter adventure in Pennsylvania! The location couldn't have been better - just 30 minutes from the ski slopes and snow tubing runs, while also offering peaceful lakeside views. We spent our mornings hitting the slopes, afternoons enjoying thrilling snow tubing sessions, and evenings warming up by the fireplace while watching the sunset and deers walking by. The house itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after long days of outdoor activities. The heating system kept us toasty warm with heated baths floors and there was plenty of hot water for everyone to shower after skiing.

We particularly enjoyed the scenic winter hiking trails nearby, which offered breathtaking views of the snow-covered landscape. The host provided excellent recommendations for local trails and winter activities, and was very responsive to our questions.

The open-concept living area was perfect for our group to gather, play board games, and share meals together.

Would absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking for a winter getaway that combines outdoor adventure with cozy comfort. We're already planning our next visit...

Very cold draft from spare room off the back, could not sit comfortably In the living room at night because of cold air coming from sun room and Also from the fireplace missing it's damper... And the heating system throughout was confusing as the instructions given did not operate the heat as explained. There was base board heaters along with above your head individual heating units in each room. The house itself was cute, gave a very cozy vibe, decorated and stocked well. Gave me a weekend at the cabin kind of feel, minus the lack of proper insulation or whatever it might have been, would suggest or recommend it as an awesome spot in...

We recently stayed at this house on the Lake for a getaway, and it was a fantastic experience. The house itself was very clean,cozy and well-equipped, its located walking distance to the lake beach with stunning view, perfect for a peaceful retreat. The surrounding area is gorgeous, with a few ski resorts nearby, making it an ideal spot for winter activities. We spent a day skiing and had an amazing time.
