The worse casino ever! First of none of the floor staff ever smiles. They walk around with chips on there shoulders. 99% of the staff is Native or Minority and i do not see any white people wrking for the establishment. They started this new security policy which is just insane. They now want your ID at the door on demand. Doesn't matter if your 80 years old or 18. They plan to start scanning your IDs which god only knows what they intend on doing with the private information they obtain this way! The slots are a joke. They took out all the good ones and replaced them with these cartoonish digital garbage that is high priced and over rated. You use to be able to come to this casino, relax, play a few slots that were quarter slots but now its at min a dollar some cases $1.20 a pull. The food court is also a joke. Sometimes some of them are open other times they are not. You have to flip a coin as to when your favorite spot is open. The buffet is another joke. Maybe one time a week its a buffet the rest the time its a over priced over rated sit down resturaunt where again the staff is rude. My real complaint is being stuck at a machine for 1 hr waiting for there rude staff to help me pull a ticket out of the machine that wouldnt print. A common thing at this casino. When complained to security he just had a dumb founded look on his face and acted like he didn't care. Other thing is most the machines buttons stick and they have all the machines that actually pay out a little off with posting saying they are under maintenance which is a lie. If the gambling commision folks came in and seen what this corrupt, crooked casino was doing they be shut down in a heart beat! They know they are liars. The whole security thing with checking IDs is a joke. They have a hotel and younger people say 21 or a tad older check in with agroup of younger friends some being 17 and they are at the slots playing and being obnoxious and no where is security found. They pound on the machines, scream and hollar and act like animals and security just walks on by but they love to herass the elderly people as soon as they walk in the door. "Let ID that vet!" I feel the place has a strong element of racism. I would like to remind them that those kinds of prejudice views died 200 years ago along with the crimes against the Native People. I am white but I am also Native American with a strong Native American back ground but i look as white as a bed sheet. So you know, maybe your all native american security team will think twice before herassing elderly and vets and just vetting and singling out who they want to herass because they are bored! You had one huge security officer and I do mean huge and i doubt he could run after anyone but boy he was good at using his voice yelling on the floor for everyone to dispurse and move on. The people was just watching a guy win and win big. You would think you want people to see winnings in your casino. It encourages people to play but I guess thats not how you people at your casino feel. I also had on the same day a employee of your casino say "Sir, sir this is your $20 bill" She had pulled it from the ticket reciever and called me off a slot i was playing, she handed it to me, I said thats not my $20, She looked at me and said- NO IT IS! I said no it isnt! I handed back to her. So YES you have very dishonest people at your casino and you guys are a joke and after a long run of 20 years coming there, I am done! You couldn't offer me $20,000 to come back. Your casino has some major flaws and you took all the fun games out. Michael Jackson game, Many of the Bali Game Machines are gone. Wierd and Wicked is gone. So many to name. Wizard of oz machine gone! So yeah its now a totally garbage experience. I rather give my money to the homeless than to pump into your junk slot machines you have now. Enjoy this review Legends. You deserve it for keeping me there for 1hr waiting for help and acting like it was no big deal. Did it ever cross your minds with all these new machines you should have more floor people walking around to make sure people are ok? Nope because all that matters...
Read moreWe have previously stayed at Legends hotel and casino and had a great time. We went on February 14th to celebrate valentine’s day and our 24th wedding anniversary. The entire night ended up being awful.
First we arrived, checked in, and went to our room. As we were settling in and beginning to enjoy romantic time, ANOTHER COUPLE UNLOCKED THE DOOR AND WALKED IN TO OUR ROOM!!!!
They were apologetic and said they would go to the front desk and sort it out. A bit later our phone rings and it’s the front desk. First the lady on the phone says “are you staying here?” (obviously, we’re in the room!) then asks our name and a bit argumentatively tells my husband “you are in the wrong room!” Um… No. We are in the room we were assigned to, given keys to, and our keys opened the door to. Then she huffs a bit and says “Well I will move them then” like their room assignment mix up was somehow our fault.
We then went down to play for a bit and enjoy the Valentine’s day buffet we had pre paid for with our special package we booked our hotel. We then waited in the LONG line for the buffet. Once we got through the buffet line and seated we realized we were not given our tickets for the lobster tail our pre purchase package allowed us so we had to go back for those. Once we had the tickets we then waited in line at the buffet for lobster only to finally get it, cut into it and find them raw in the middle.
At this point we left the buffet to go back to our room, only to find our keys no longer work. Apparently when they assigned another couple to our room (once we were already in it!!) our keys were deactivated.
So we go down to the desk ask to talk to the night manager (who it turns out was the same one who had checked us in a few hours earlier). We explained the whole situation to her and she said she would talk it over with her boss and call us in the morning as we were entitled to a discount or free room for all the trouble.
We went to the casino where we proceeded to spend a lot of money only we could not even enjoy it as the music was at an insane teeth rattling level ALL night. It felt like we were clubbing in the loudest nightclub not just in a casino. We couldn’t hear each other talk a foot away from each other and both ended the evening with pounding headaches. I love music when playing at the casino but this volume was ridiculous!
So we head to our room where thankfully this time our keys work and nobody else barges in on us. Next morning we still haven’t gotten the promised phone call from the front desk so we go down to check out and talk to the day manager on shift and she knows nothing of the situation! Apparently the night manager did not relay any info to her. So we go over the entire story again and she takes our number says she will talk to her (i believe) director and get back to us.
So we pay full price for our room and leave and now 2 days later have not heard a thing from anyone.
Here’s the kicker, because we play so much in the casino I am awarded Free nights at the casino during the week anyway. So this room would’ve been free if I have booked it through that promo, but we paid for it using the Valentine’s Day special included the buffet (which we didn’t eat after getting raw lobster).
I know they can see this on their end and they could’ve just comped the room and kept a customer. However, they managed to ruin our wedding anniversary, Valentine’s Day, basically blame us for someone else walking into our room during romantic time, give us the run around trying to get it taken care of and make it so I don’t...
Read moreThe worse experience!!
told my daughter we checked out 2 days ago she was under the influence of alcohol and needed a bathroom and used it where the housekeeper was cleaning up. supervisor refused to solve any issues and still claimed we checked out. Meanwhile my mother was standing in front of him and refused to hear her. supervisor Steve/Steven did not acknowledge what we had to say and he was always right. -he barred my daughter and claimed she had a fake name - her father was in the hotel list with the same last name. He failed to check it out. He called the police and had her arrested - still claimed we checked out!!! Failed to check our names. Thank goodness my brother told me she was going to be arrested. he was rude mannered and felt as if we owed him an apology my daughter left her phone and wallet in her uncles car. She claimed she had to sleep outside. She walked to the gas station hoping to run into a family member. Because Steve/Steven would not take the time to acknowledge she needed to get a hold of one of us at the hotel. -she was upset - became argumentative and I do not blame her whatsoever. -Our room was overlooked twice and I had to let front desk know and they claimed they will get someone in to clean it. on the second day of no one cleaned the room. I asked to moved into a clean room. I did let them know my husband could not walk far and the room was further down. the bell person stated they should have placed us closer. At least she understood. the General manager was not in on Monday morning to deal with this issues. Spoke with someone else. He listened but we will see how they handled this matter.
Our family was here for a memorial for my brother and sister!!! This situation added more stress of the lack of cleansing or felt as we had to be watched at all times. -some of the staff were not friendly - and messed up the names for the guest in the rooms. I am upset how my family has been treated with the worsted hotel experience. I would have expected this from non-Native people(First Nations). But when it is Native American run business I would have expected better.
This was one of the worst experiences my family went through. It did not matter how many times I called in to clean the room or order towels. We were ignored. It was bad enough to go to housekeeping to get clean towels. I even offered to vacuum the carpets.
As for the supervisor Steve/Steven. I heard there was many complaints against him. He was rude and ignorant employee that will cost the hotel business.
For a Native American hotel - I felt I was not treated equal and I am a Native American Indian.
Will this matter get solved?! The ball is in their court.
Q: if this was your experienced what I went through - would you be upset? This is for the General Manager and the owner of the hotel.
Signed by - unhappy customer/stressful
