We spent 4 days and nights with hosts Jeff and Amy at the end of July and had the best experience possible. The house is chock full of fun Victorian stuff, but also, their theme to use the game of Clue is an extra-fun bonus! I can imagine the fun if you had a group that took up the whole place and you played the game along with your breakfasts. Which, by the way, couldn't be tastier - they are cooked to order, fresh, scrumptious and generous portions. In addition, they provided cookies and coffee and other treats for other times of the day. The bed was super comfy and the 3/4 bathroom was fine. The air conditioner kept us cool. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. I highly recommend it! It isn't right in town, so you can't walk to businesses, but it's only a couple of miles out, between two towns. I didn't go into the cabins, as they were occupied - we stayed in...
Read moreWe drove from MA to Ithaca to watch a game and we were looking for a place to stop along the route back home. We had a lovely overnight stay at the Bainbridge House! Jeff and Amy are simply the best; they are accommodating, kind, and so personable. Amy's breakfast and baked treats are perfection; everything is bursting with flavor. We appreciated the coffee, tea, water, and soda available at the beverage station. Jeff's craftsmanship is on full display immediately upon arrival. The newly constructed and beautifully expansive porch and portico welcomed us as we drove up. The porch has ample seating options to enjoy the scenic outdoor view. The entire house is welcoming and beyond charming. We stayed in the Mr. Green room and had a comfortable nights stay. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the towels were soft. Honestly, we could not have had...
Read moreI love going to bed and breakfasts, and this is one of the best I have been to. My boyfriend and I stood in one of their new cabins, which are just adorable. The cabin was spotless, everything was new and beautiful, the owners are sweet, kind and extremely accommodating. The best part was the breakfast... there was a different menu each day in which you can choose from. Since we were in a cabin, we told them a time and they delivered our breakfast to us in a cute picnic basket. It was DELICIOUS! We had blueberry french toast and a skillet with sausage, potatoes, veggies, cheese and eggs. Plus, fresh fruit, orange juice, biscuits, and pastries, all homemade! The cabins even have a cute porch and an outside grill. If you go, be sure to also go to the Awestuck cider house that is close by. It’s awesome; great atmosphere,...
