We just got back from an unforgettable camping trip, and I can't recommend it enough for families with kids! From the moment we arrived, everything was easy, welcoming, and perfectly set up for a fun family getaway. There was so much for the kids to do! The campground had a safe and clean playground, pools, splash pad, putt putt, pedal karts, and a jumping pillow. Our little adventurers loved biking the trails, collecting sticks, and roasting marshmallows at night. The kids were so busy they completely forgot about their technology! Our cabin offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The location was peaceful with a picturesque view of a pond; ideal for morning coffee on the porch and evening campfires under the stars. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, shower, comfy beds, and a TV (for rainy days). Peace & Quiet (with just the right amount of noise): While it was peaceful and relaxing for the adults, there were plenty of other families around, so we never felt like our kids were being “too loud.” It had that perfect balance of nature and community. Nearby Activities: We loved the close proximity to nearby activities! We went kayaking, took a boat ride, went to the county fair, a museum, and explored the quaint little town of Hammondsport. This camping trip was the perfect way to unplug and reconnect as a family. Our kids made new friends, had non-stop outdoor fun, and we all made memories we’ll never forget. We’re already planning our next trip back! Highly recommend for families with children of all ages!

Review of Hickory Hill Camping Resort, site 196 is amazing Location and Accessibility: Hickory Hill Camping Resort is conveniently located in Bath, NY. The park is easy to find and access, making it a great spot for travelers. Facilities and Amenities: The resort offers a variety of facilities and amenities, including two pools. Everything was very well-maintained and clean, which made our stay very comfortable. The premium site with a concrete pad and double swing and gazebo was a fantastic addition, as well as mini golf course and huge jumping pillow was so much fun. Site Quality: The individual RV sites were spacious and level, with all the necessary hookups. The premium site, in particular, was great with its concrete pad and double swing and gazabo Customer Service: The staff at Hickory Hill Camping Resort were amazing. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a pleasant stay. The owners were especially accommodating and friendly, whichalways makes a big difference. Activities and Recreation: There were so many things to do at the resort. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, and the resort is very pet-friendly, which we loved. so many things to do in the area way too much to list. Value for Money: Considering the quality of the facilities and the level of service, we felt that the resort offered great value for the price we paid. Overall Experience: We travel around to a lot of different Rv Parks and by far this is one of our favorites. Our stay at Hickory Hill Camping Resort was fantastic. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great RV park experience.

This was probably one of the nicer campgrounds we've stayed at this year. You can tell the owners and workers take pride in keeping the grounds nice and clean and maintained. Everywhere you turn there are pots of flowers and it is very inviting! We've avoided this one when under KOA ownership but are so glad and happy we gave it a try! Our kids loved the pool and splash pad! They are begging us to come back next weekend actually and we probably would if we didn't have other plans! Honestly, all of the seasonal sites are well maintained too and people are very friendly...workers saying hi and waving, which you just don't experience these days. I felt at home and that was very refreshing! Bathrooms are very clean and again you can tell they take pride in having them clean!! We visited on a very busy weekend...basically every site filled and you wouldn't even know it by the traffic or anything. Pool wasn't crowded at all. Other things we enjoyed were the playgrounds, well stocked store, how quiet it was, walkability, etc.. We are looking to book again in September because we loved it so much!! My husband made a comment this is the only place we've been to where he'd even think about getting a seasonal site!!! Please give this place a try...you won't be disappointed!!

We stayed at the KOA for 5 nights. The campground itself was okay. The amenities lacked on up keep. The camp store is small but has the basic necessities. We did find that all of their brochures were outdated at least a year, typically two or more years. While the bathhouse was clean, there was little water pressure and warm water in the showers. The laundry room contained two washers and four dryers and only takes quarters. There is a change machine that works, but bring your own detergent and dryer sheets since the dispenser is not refilled. One washer was out of service and we found out from a resident it had been since the beginning of the season. Upon arrival, on a rainy day, it was obvious there are major drainage issues since a small pond formed outside the laundry room, and a river was flowing down the gravel road behind our camper. The dumpsters were overflowing with trash upon our arrival and were not emptied until 3 days into our stay. || The kids did enjoy the large bounce pillow. The spray area next to the pool looked fun, but it was too cold to check it out. The mini golf course looked fun, but some holes were full of water, see drainage issues above. We heard the campground was nice and well kept. Hopefully post COVID it will be able to get back to where it...
