So much fun! My husband's family has been coming here for more than 25 years. We have now been twice and we will continue to come for many years. There's a group of ~ 80 family /friends that come...such a great place for families and friends to gather. It's so relaxing, cut off from the internet (you can get Wi-Fi at the snack bar but we simply pretend it doesn't exist). The kids get walkie talkies and we pretty much see them for meals and at the pool. It's truly a vacation for everyone...including mom! I didn't have to cook a meal for a full week, didn't wash any dishes or do any cleaning. It was heaven! The rooms are dated and could certainly use some sprucing up but it feels rustic and relaxed and it's super affordable. There are activities every night including horse racing, weenie roast and costume contest, DJ dance party, laser tag, karaoke, fishing contest and more. And did I mention they provide every single meal?!? That is truly a vacation!

I recently stopped there for a couple of days to surprise my children and grandchildren who have been staying there for a week. I took my own children many, many times years ago when they were young the same time each year. It's a family-owned business that's been there for 40 to 50 years. There are activities for the for the kids to keep busy. I find it very wonderful for young families. They offer three meals a day, which is included in your stay. You can eat, get up, and be on your way. The rooms are simple. It's almost like a dirty dancing type atmosphere, simple low key on a beautiful piece of property.

Have been coming here with my family for 25 years, it's just as fun for kids as it is for adults! 3 meals and 2 desserts are included everyday, and you can get as many seconds as you want! There is a pool to swim in, a lake to fish in, and a playground to play in. Even though the place is usually packed, you don't feel it at all and it's nice and peaceful. Plenty of activites to do everyday as well. Can't beat the price of this experience, it's well worth every penny!

Overall, the place is amazing.||Food:|Awesome and filling. Home-made meals and milk is great. A little rough for vegetarians but there's still plenty to choose from for them. I recommend bringing snacks for your room/rooms, such as chips and other snacks you can have before lunch or dinner. Desserts are always amazing, especially the butter cake. Some days the bread on the table is stale though, not too bad but you can tell.||Rooms: Yes, rooms are a bit dirty. Overall, they're very old and deserve major renovating. Having your shoes and socks off doesn't do too much damage to you as people say if you're not too worried about germs. Showers do leak sometimes into the carpet nearby in the room, but that's only happened twice that I've ever gone. Bring extra pillows and maybe a blanket. Bring beach towels too for pool. Rooms have been renovated a few times in areas such as the shower and bathroom. (Paint and showerhead). If you go during the summer, bring a sweatshirt for the room too because it gets cold in the room quickly with the AC.||Noise: Noise is not as bad as others say. If you do the same, I go the same week every year so I know everyone that goes every year already. It's really depending on who goes, but as far as I have known, noise isn't that bad. If you get unlucky and have a bunch of people who stay up late above you, just turn on the air conditioner to drown out the sound. The morning bell may wake you up, but it's honestly very quiet from some rooms so set an alarm 30 minutes before it sets off. At around 9:30, kids and teenagers are still out and usually run nearby rooms so warning in advance. The weekly fireworks are loud too but everyone usually is awake and outside to watch them.||Activities: There's plenty of stuff to do here. The huge lake has a trail around it which makes for beautiful scenery if you like taking walks or jogs. There's a pool with a slide, different sports to play, contests, karaoke, a bar, and the arcade. There's many places to go too such as the snack bar, the farm, and the dock where people regularly fish at the lake.||Wifi/Service: No, there isn't service or wifi. You're surrounded by mountains everywhere you turn. If you really need service depending on what service you have, go to the snack bar, the bridge over the stream, or out in the field by the cemetery.||I know this was long but there's just so many things to talk about with this place. It's a lot of fun for all ages, and it's best if you experience the week there yourself. Yes there's some flaws but the scenery and fun activities cover the bad things. Hopefully this helped you in some...

Unfortunately, The worst and terrible experience in my life was at Glen Brook Farm.||Basically, I made my reservation on April 2019 3 month in advance with Debbie the owner of the Place.||I came from Middle Village, Queens NY 3 hours driving I had my mom 76 years old, wife and two babies 19 month and 3 years old. The trip was too long for my family ||I lost signal on my phone and got lost! long story short I arrived later at 1:30pm||||1/4 Debbie was talking on the phone no one else can take care of the customers and have been waiting for 15 mins until Ms. Debbie finished up!||2/4 she asked for $30.00 cash as a deposit in case of we break something.||I gave her my credit card . she said no ONLY CASH!!! i said but you did charge my credit card $100.00 over the phone back on April as a deposit when we did the reservation. also how about if i don't have cash right now.||she said no I've been doing this over 35 years which i don't understand what she is talking about if i don't have cash!!!!!!||3/4 All of Sudden she said you know what i don't think you can get to your reserved room because with your attitude i think you are not going to be happy with our service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!||4/4 I said i am coming from NY 3 hours driving, lost my way , have 2 babies and my old mom 76 years old what do you want me to do?|| She said look for another resort!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (EXCUSE ME)!!!!||Can you people imagine the bad situation she put me in?||she is so F rude, unprofessional, has no heart and crazy woman ||I had never ever met someone like this woman in my life treat her customers in a such bad way.||I will never try this place ever again and i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ||i know or i don't ||I'm so sorry that I waste my time to drive all the way to "Glen Brook Farm"||||Thank God i went to another Resort and explained what happen and everyone knows what happen to my family and I got shocked!!!!!!!!!!!||||I think i have to share my bad experience with everyone just in case no one get in Trouble and get deceived as i did with "Glen Brook Farm"and Debbie who runs the place with her Husband. who listened to the Conversation when he was going upstairs and didn't take an action just try to fix what his wife did !!!||shame on...
