Rustic little campground on a beautiful lake. We pulled in late without a reservation and the host was quick to welcome us and give us the run down. He made sure we knew the difference between the available camp spots. Site 1 has the best light and is closest to the lake. Opting to not have the light pollution, we stayed in site 2 a little further in the trees. After setting up our tent by headlamp, we grabbed some beers and headed down to the lake. The other campers and buildings were far enough away it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. This last minute “last resort” campground on our Glacier National Park tripped turned out to be one of my favorite nights. We would stay here again. Super friendly. Easy swimming, kayaking, and I assume fishing. No potable water. Porta potties were clean, but porta potties.

Stayed in July 2021. Awesome place to stay! Amazing views and close to Glacier NP! We stayed in one of their very nice cabins. The owners were so friendly! ~Really great views on a beautiful lake ~Sleeps 3 very comfortably with nice air mattresses. We saw a group sleep 6 - they likely used the upper loft area (no mattress in the loft) ~Very affordable cabin for how close it is to Glacier NP ~Mini fridge, microwave, and electricity. Also a TV (no cable, for movies) ~Semi-rustic cabin (no running water, shower, cell-service). They do offer free showers at their sister campsite, though. Doesn’t have all the amenities but what a great place to stay! We definitely enjoyed it!

Beautiful view and serenity. Close to St Mary and Many Glacier entrances. We reserved a cabin.....it was clean but the air mattress popped our first night. We weren't prepared for no running water at all- not even a gasket to fill water bottles. You have to go 10 minutes down the road to get any sort of water to drink, wash hands, wash dishes, or shower in. Only one pit toilet, although very clean, for that area of the campground. Had to wait a lot to use the pit toilet. I only wish it was advertised on their website that there is no running water and only one pit toilet

Scenery and location are great. I would add pictures, but they would look just like all of the others. Amazing views of the mountains and access to the lake and its rocky shore. Camp sites on the lake are very private and all sites are close to porta potties. However, not all sites have a picnic table or have a very level place to put a tent.

All of that considered I would have given if 5 starts, but... Most of my issues probably stem from the fact that the camp hosts were not there when we arrived and nobody seemed to know what was going on. They showed up about 9:30 pm, but at that point, we just went with what we had. There is no map of the campground that I have been able to find anywhere, which led to multiple people unsure of where they were supposed to be, including us. We reserved a site with electric, but there did not seem to be any available when we arrived. In the morning, I brought this to the attention of the camp host and asked for a refund of the difference in price, but was told she couldn't do that since I booked online. Definitely call to make reservations! We, along with many others, were also not able to figure out where any fresh drinking water was located. Still don't know.

When we arrived, we talked with many other campers who were frustrated and confused. Even those who were on electric sites did not have access to electricity because the boxes were locked. I assume this was corrected when the camp hosts arrived. This place has the potential to be great, but organization is seriously lacking. Call ahead and know what you're getting into. Oh, and ZERO cell reception... just...

I stumbled across this great campground on my way into Glacier National Park by accident and was so happy that I did. As I was driving toward this incredible landscape with the mountains off in the distance and Glacier NP on the horizon, I noticed this beautiful lake and signs along the highway indicating that there was an RV campground at the edge of the lake. I couldn't resist and took the short drive down to the lakeside and discovered this wonderful place.

When I arrived, I met the owners, Matt and Sharon. They drove me around the campground to give me a tour and an opportunity to choose a campsite that would be suitable for my 25 ft. motor home. We found the perfect spot. They were very friendly and very helpful. I even had some battery issues arise with my motor home in the morning as I was leaving and a friend of theirs who was staying at the campground helped me out with that as well. I was very grateful for the help. They all showed that they cared and it had an impact on me.

The campground is situated in a beautiful setting. It is peaceful and even has cabins for rent along with the RV and tent sites which are on literally on the shores of the lake. I loved staying there. It is a family-owned and operated campground and I felt like family too after...

Great location near the east side of Glacier. Very nice views over the lake. The campsites looked very spacious and private, and if we were staying in one of their campsites this would probably be a 5 star review. However, we were in one of the cabins, which was not cleaned very well before our stay and were not very private. The cabins faced the road into the campground area and the curtains on the window and door covered less than half the length. When we tried to check in at 3 PM on a Friday nobody was there to check us in - the sign on the door said they'd be back at 5. We came back at 5 and there still wasn't anyone there. Around 5:30 someone finally showed up to check us in. Rough start. It appears a few of the cabins are being used as full-time residences. Overheard some yelling and cussing between the apparent tenants which was not appreciated by my young family. We were happy to have only booked 2 nights at this place instead of 3 that we were initially considering. Nobody once checked to see if we needed anything or how our stay was. It wouldn't take much to make this a 5-star place to stay, as the location and price is great, but for our stay it's 3 stars (and really more...
