I have been to the Pine Lake Lodge many many times dating back to when it was Tory's. I have fond memories of the Pine Lake Lodge and Beach across the street. Jogging down from West Stoner to buy the 2 day old Leader Herald from the machine across the street. My father tells stories of semi famous country acts performing across the street and huge crowds in the 70s. while I don't remember that I do remember the summer the big bar across the street was transformed into a roller rink and my Dad wiping out on the divots in the hardwood. Needless to say that rink lasted only half a summer. Or the summer where rumors spread that they were building a giant water slide across the street. Then a bulldozer dug a tiny pool and the indentation is still in the ground to this day. While I know these memories are not all from the Pine Lake Lodge the entire campsite beach and Inn is worth checking out. The area has a desolate feeling that is tough to find and yet still feel safe and close to civilization just in case. I have visited Pine Lake Lodge several times for eat in and take out over the past few summers and have always been extremely satisfied. The best thing about Pine Lake Lodge is that they are open Thursday-Sunday with reliability (which is tough to predict what's open when in Caroga) They are always open these hours memorial day- labor day. I know they also have a big snowsled crowd but I have never been up in the winter yet. My personal favorite are the Srichai wings. Extra Crispy, super jumbo with Chunky Blue cheese. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Enough for 3 meals. Can't wait to stop in again before Labor Day! If you find yourself in the central foothills of the Adirondacks... Lake Pleasant, Broadalbin, Arietta, Stratsburg.....its too late and have no service. But while you are in cellular service area download the Pine Lake Menu. You won't be disappointed. Check them out!

4.5 for us during our Saturday outing in the Adirondacks. The new owners said they are in their fifth year and presented as very friendly and genuine. The atmosphere was as laid back and comfortable as it was in the 80s outside. I ordered the char-burger with sweet potatoes fries and the side of Mac salad. She ordered the chicken panini with tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella along with regular fries and the Mac salad as well. The burger I ordered medium with provolone and sautéed onions. The food arrived and my burger was cooked medium spot on. The char flavor melded with the provolone and sautéed onions like a juicy explosion of burger and delicious flavor. The sweet potato fries were made fresh and with every bite they exuded the sweet fresh flavor that you would expect. The Mac salad for both of us was very balanced and flavorful. I had wished that the portion size was larger. The chicken panini was banging with the delicious and fresh explosion of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. The regular fries had a taste of freshness and crunch that was satisfying to the pallet. Some mite say a bit pricey but we felt that the distance from civilization and availability of really good food and decent portions more than justified the price. If you want to chill and have some good food away from the hustle and bustle check them out and tell them, Guy sent you.

We stayed at the Southern Adirondecks RV Park whom recommended us here. Just a short walk (5 minutes) puts you at their door step. Walking in we were warmly greeted on a cold October night. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of their drinks and food. Their Beef Barley soup was some of the best we have had in years. The pizza logs are a great cold night treat! Prices for generous portion of steak and scallops were extremely reasonable and cooked perfectly (medium rare and soft and tender). The steak with sea scallops came with salad, vegetables, and choice of baked potatoes, mashed potatoes with perfect gravy (this is what we had). I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. A great surprise and we left happy and too full!

On December 13th through 15th, 2024, I led a wonderful "Holiday Getaway Stress Relief Retreat" at Pine Lake Lodge with five amazing guests and myself! When we arrived, the Pine Lake Lodge was decorated with wonderful holiday lights and magnificent decorations that made us feel at home during the holiday season. It was like walking into a Winter Wonderland! Thanks to Kim!! Dan's wife. Just perfect for our get away during the holidays!

My name is Gi Indoccio; the owner of Be Mindful with Gi Wellness Center On-line and in person courses and classes. Please visit my website at BeMindfulWithGi.com I also lead and host Mindfulness and Wellness retreats in the United States and Costa Rica. I teach In person classes at Flote Wellness Center in Hampton, NH in Mindfulness Based-Stress Reduction, (MBSR) 8-week course, Vision Board workshops, Attachment Relationship Theory Life Coaching, and NVC Compassionate Communication, Breathwork, and all levels of Reiki training, I, II & III, including Reiki Master Teacher Training (a year long apprenticeship program).

Having the very first wellness retreat at Pine Lake Lodge in Caroga, New York was an honor and such a pleasure!

Each and every guest was extremely pleased with their very spacious rooms, comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the entire lodge, including the bathrooms and the lovely captivating living area and the fun pool table room! Yes we even played pool on our mindfulness retreat. :)

I myself, enjoyed some meditative time in the wee 3 am hours of the morning in the comfy, cozy living room with the beautiful illuminated Christmas tree with its lights and lovely ornaments, as I pondered life and had some truly precious moments of quiet time in the silence of the glowing beams of hope on the tree. This honestly was an incredibly peaceful time of reflection for me.

We enjoyed the tremendous dining room table for 20 people, that sat us easily, and also allowed us to do our journaling and creative work making memorable votive candles with decoupage during the mindfulness retreat in such an amazing magical atmosphere. Along with the three season huge porch next to the humongous bar; we enjoyed so many wonderful memories! We did entertain ourselves in the bar area for some tranquil Reiki Energy sessions and at night a little prosecco toast to commemorate the beginning of our journey to release stress during the holiday season!

I thoroughly enjoyed the time at the PLL, as did all of my guests. I was able to share with them a beautiful swag bag full of fantastic goodies. As a gift to them for joining me, they received a silk lavender eye pillow and beautiful amethyst heart for them to carry in their pocket, along with some essential oil scented hand cream and lip balm, and a beautiful leather bound journal with a positive saying on it and a pen for them to chronicle their journey while at the Pine Lake Lodge during the retreat and long after.

Pine Lake Lodge held the perfect setting for this holiday getaway! My only regret... is that it was too short of time and I wish we would have stayed for a total of four nights; because two nights was not enough.

Check in and check out we're very easily accomplished and anything we needed, the hosts, Jeff and Dan were able to accommodate us with. It was lovely to meet Dan's wife, Kim, as she also joined us in the enchanted winter Wonderland living room for a little fun holiday meet and greet!

As a Mindfulness, Reiki and Well-Being retreat leader, I would highly recommend Pine Lake Lodge in Caroga, NY for any type of yoga, creative, or any spiritual wellness retreat!

Feel free to contact me for any references for the Pine Lake Lodge! And of course, for any questions at Gi@BeMindfulWithGi.com or you can call me at (6O3)-860-8645. Please go to my website listed above and Jump on my email list and receive a FREE 5 min meditation download and a simple 3 page eBook to reduce your stress in minutes. Mindfulness with Gi is Not what you think..... it's easy and simple. Love & Light, Warmest...

A Perfect Family Getaway!

If you're seeking a memorable escape nestled in the tranquil foothills of the Adirondacks, Pine Lake Lodge is the ultimate haven for family and friends. Our recent Thanksgiving retreat at this idyllic lodge was nothing short of spectacular. With ages spanning from 1 to 70 within our group, Pine Lake Lodge catered to every generation, ensuring a restful, food-filled, and family-focused experience.

Accommodation at Pine Lake Lodge is both spacious and inviting. There was ample room for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the communal areas were thoughtfully designed to encourage quality time together. From the cozy living room to the engaging game room and unique bar area, there was no shortage of spaces to gather and create lasting memories.

Entertainment options abound at Pine Lake Lodge, making downtime just as enjoyable as the festivities. We enjoyed friendly competitions at the pool table and darts.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the well-equipped commercial kitchen, where we prepared our Thanksgiving feast with ease. The expansive dining area boasted a long table and plenty of chairs, facilitating intimate gatherings and lively conversations throughout the holiday.

Overall, our experience at Pine Lake Lodge exceeded all expectations. From its picturesque surroundings to its thoughtful amenities, this charming retreat offers the perfect backdrop for any season gathering with loved ones. Whether you're planning a family reunion, a weekend getaway, or a special celebration, I highly recommend checking out Pine Lake Lodge's listing on Airbnb. Trust me; you won't be...
