I am back for my annual family visit from California. I have returned year after year to Cohocton Valley Inn. The owner, Kim, has become someone I look forward to seeing. Watching her son grow is great too. He is a nice young boy and helps me feel at at ease. I enjoy the outdoor kitties. This is my home away from home.||Each visit, Kim has kept my room spotless, very comfortable and we'll stocked. She comes by and checks on me but is always on the go keeping the place up. As a woman traveling alone, this is the place I feel most safe. We are in a tiny town with a small grocery store in walking distance. There is a gas grill to cook on. The grocery store down the street is our go to place for sandwiches and other to go lunches. They make the best homemade sausages. The kids walked to the ice cream stand every evening. It's a great jump off point for state parks and the surrounding museums and then come back for a relaxing evening outdoors. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with refrigerators and microwaves. Daily cleaning and towel changes are a plus. It's hard to find this kind of atmosphere now a days. We will...
