I don’t normally write reviews but because of our wonderful stay and I feel compelled to tell audiences how much of a GEM this place is! We stayed one night in the Peach Room, our room was decorated with antique-country style furniture and quilts with an personal touch bonus of surprise chocolate treats waiting for us in our room. Hal, our host, is full of refreshing humor, fascinating life stories and is nothing short of an EXTREMELY GRACIOUS host! If you have time, go on the veranda and enjoy the quiet and beautiful well-maintain green gardens. We saw chipmunks, rabbits, and many different types of birds. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either, Hal served a delicious, and healthy, breakfast spread -- homemade blueberry pancakes, sausage, fresh fruits (pineapple, melon, & strawberries), greek yogurt and granola – with a classy and beautiful table setting. I will definitely be returning...
Read moreMy family very much enjoyed our stay at Storm King Lodge. The lodge is comfortable and beautiful: the rooms are in and under the loft of a converted barn, and the body of the barn is a wonderfully comfortable open area with a large dining table, sofa and chairs, a small kitchen, and access to a lovely covered stone veranda. A refrigerator is available for guests, prestocked with convenience items, but perfect for stashing snacks or groceries if taking over the place for a family gathering. It struck us as a perfect location to get two families together because each can have their own room(s) and spend time together in the ample communal space, both indoors and out. The location is fabulous, very close to Storm King and only a few minutes from several towns with restaurants and other interesting haunts. The innkeepers are friendly and very helpful. We fully intend...
Read more❤️❤️❤️❤️|Hello, My husband and I just had the pleasure of meeting Hal the Innkeeper for The Storm King Lodge this weekend. Hal made us feel welcome when entering his lodge, he told us a little about himself and the history of the lodge. The lodge is full of personal and unusual items that I enjoyed listening to the history of them. The bedroom is warm and inviting with a working woodburning fireplace, the beds were comfortable. In the morning we started our day with a breakfast for a King, including omelets one day and blueberry pancakes the next day. Each day there was fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and coffee was always available. We are looking forward to spending another weekend maybe for fall foliage. I would highly recommend this place it will not disappoint and you will find yourself trying to plan your...
