Tenwood Lodge — Hotel in Town of Danby

Tenwood lodge is an Ithaca local hidden gem. Spent there 3 nights during foliage season and I couldn’t recommend them more. Owners special attention and warmth made us feel like visiting our family. Lodge is family owned and maintained. House is so nice and clean, the architectural solution is well thought out - from each room there is a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. Breakfasts made by Kim was a blast - prepared from local farm produce and fantasy recipes. We can’t forget banana-nut gluten free pancakes flavored with Iim and Russ homemade maple syrup, but there was a lot of other things. We adore and love the Tenwood Lodge! Every time we go back to visit our family, we always stay there. Whether renting the entire home or just staying as part of Kim and Russ’s beautiful bed and breakfast, every time is so special and unforgettable. The home offers spacious and beautiful rooms, the kitchen space is incredible and the outside yard space is breath taking. Our favorite moments are the mornings there. Kim makes the most delicious meals (the best pancakes i have ever had!). It truly feels as if we are at home every time we visit. We are very grateful for being able to stay there every single time. My wife and I stayed at Tenwood Lodge while visiting our son during parents’ weekend at Cornell, which is just a few minutes away. The house is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and has beautiful views in every direction.
