I just got home from my amazing day at Mariaville Goat Farm with some of my girlfriends who have supported me along my journey to battle breast cancer. Thank you so much Ed, Rick, and Cameron from the farm and Night out for You. Today was better than I could have ever imagined! And the weather was perfect. ❤️

We started the day with the best scones ever from Sprinkles and Sparkles Bakery and a lovely gift bag of goat themed goodies from the farm. Then we explored the tree house and yurt before snuggling with the goats. 🐐 Iris the goat was the crowd favorite, but Luna was a close second. We especially loved how she softly bucked a few of us to keep us on our toes. I haven’t laughed so hard in months. 😂

After a stroll through the woods with the herd, we then ate a yummy lunch of veggies, cheeses, dips, crackers, pitas, fruit, dates, chocolate and blueberry-lemon cupcakes from Sprinkles and Sparkles (our new favorite bakery 😋), and homemade lemon tarts made by Rick…soooo good!

Then Janelle arrived and we had a ball with her as she taught us all the tricks to painting glass! The paint and sip was a great time and we learned how artistic (or not so much, in my case 😊 ) we all are.

Finally, we ended the day with goat meditation with Ed🧘. It was so relaxing to lie down under the trees with the goats snuggled up to us, a gentle breeze blowing, as we enjoyed being with each other.

We move so fast in our lives, caring for other people and working hard at our jobs, that we rarely take time for ourselves. Today was a celebration 🎉 of all of us as we reminded each other how special we are. We couldn’t have done this without your hospitality. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you again for everything Ed, Rick, and Cameron. And thank you to A Night Out for You, Sprinkles and Sparkles Bakery, and Janelle. It was one of the best days of my life, and I’ll never forget it. I also am now 100% sure that I want goats when I...

My fiance surprised me for my birthday a few years ago by bringing me to this adorable goat farm! Although we did not stay here, there is a Goat Yurt on the property that is listed on Airbnb. The staff were super friendly and so were the animals. You reserve a timeslot in advance and get an hour of "goat cuddles" and you can walk with a whole herd of goats through the woods on trail, leading them with a food pail! If you don't want to walk, you can stay in the fenced area by the firepit where they also host goat yoga! We did not get to do yoga, but I guess the goats will climb on your back and hang out with you while you stretch! On our walk, we saw goats jump on trampolines and climb up into their tree house! This was all in all such a wholesome and fun experience. Great for families, couples, or even a friend outing. There are some other animals near the entrance but goats are the main deal here. I know from following them on social media that they do goat cuddle events as well. The baby goats are so cute!! I definitely can't recommend this...

I loved this place! It was Christmas Eve, with snow on the ground and freezing! My family bought me the goat cuddles experience as a gift, and were staying nearby for only 2 days, so we couldn't reschedule, but Rick - and of course the animals - made this experience amazing!!!! A fire was already built and blazing in a cute area of the farm stalls, and the goaties were all huddled up taking turns around the fire! I loved being able to snuggle them and get a tiny peek of all their different personalities! We got to snuggle, pet, walk with, and feed them and my face hurt from smiling and laughing so much! The added bonus was being able to snuggle 5 gorgeous bunnies named after the Jackson's!! I would give so many more stars if I...

So I got to spend some time at Mariaville Goat Farm today and oh my god. You have to go if you are in upstate NY. They also have goat yoga and a yurt to stay in! The yurt is on Airbnb. You also get to take the herd on a walk through the forest. Please note that the herd includes goats, geese and a massive sheep that thinks it’s a Labrador. They all just walk in such a nice little row! For the goat cuddle time you go in a little shed with a heater, hay bails to sit on and they put a kettle on for you for hot chocolate or tea. They also sell goat milk soap they they make right there. Today we were treated to 1 day old Orion who slept in my sweatshirt the whole time. Basically, you have to go. It’s so amazing. Even on freezing cold days.
