Hotel was decent, the front desk staff was not the best. Upon arrival I was told I was on the second floor, I asked where was the elevator and told that there was none. I informed him that my wife was in an accident and stairs are difficult for her. He told me that unless I wanted to downgrade my room type or pay for an upgrade there was nothing he could do, I told him I would speak to my wife who was in the car, and could he please let me know when I came back what the cost of the upgrade would be. When I came back in with my wife, about 2 minutes later, there was no one around. I rang the bell for service and when he came he asked if I needed something. I said, "Yes, I need to know the cost of the upgrade." He seemed surprised and then started to figure it out, I am not sure why he had not already done it since I asked him to check for me. He then told me it would be an additional $40 per night for the upgrade. My wife said forget it, she would just deal with the stairs. I brought our stuff upstairs and we headed out to dinner. When we got back I realized that I had left the keys in the room. I walked over to the front desk, told the clerk my name, the room number I was in, handed him my ID and said I left my keys in the room. He then asked me my name, he had my ID in his hands, and after checking told me I was in a different room than what I told him. After convincing him that I was in the room directly over our heads, which is the room number that I told him he made me a key. It turns out we were booked into another room but given the keys to the room we stayed in. I am so glad that the hotel was not full or we could have walked in on someone else or had someone walk in on us. This is...

If it weren't for google I don't think we would have found it.||Front desk was not behind plexi-glass and staff did not wear masks or gloves. ||Our room was gigantic and could have used more furniture. Couch did not face TV. Bathroom was huge, was sizable enough for the handicapped, yet had no grab bars or other accessibility aides. So it didn't make much sense. There was no vanity to put your toiletries on, like the main room a lot of wasted space. We had a whirlpool in the room which worked well, but was VERY slippery and difficult to get out of, again no grab bar. Water was so soft I had to get in shower to rinse soap off after bathing.||Upon arrival TV did not work. Discovered cable unhooked, don't know how that happened. ||Mattress and pillows were comfy.||People in room above us were stomping their feet so loudly it sounded like the ceiling was going to fall in on us both late at night and early in the morning. People in room next to us were playing VERY loud old time country music at 7:30. I seriously do not understand how others lack any common sense or manners.||Oddly, this is the first hotel I have stayed at that had 2 bolts on the door and bolt on the connecting door. Made me wonder if I was in a safe location.||Only hot breakfast option was waffles. Really pathetic compared to other hotels in this chain. Fortunately, there is a McDonald at the next exit, it is a rural area without much...
Read moreFirstly, I'd like to state that my review has no bearing on the staff, namely Jennifer. She was professional, personable, and overall attempted to resolve any issue immediately upon notice. However, I encountered one issue after another during my stay. Initially after check in I went to my room and was instantly taken aback by some foul odor that permeated the room. I went to the front desk to ask Jennifer if she could switch my room and if she wouldn't mind coming and inspecting the room with me to smell the room. She agreed and stated that she would have housekeeping come in the morning and freshen it. I received a different room and headed back to start unpacking. I wanted to turn on the TV but kept getting a grey box error message that said no signal. So, again I had to get someone at the front desk. Thankfully, Jennifer remained patient and started pushing buttons on the remote, wiggled the cords, unplugged them, then plugged it back and after awhile it finally came back on. I lit up with a smile and was happy I didn't have to see if they could bring another tv. Then as I was undressing and beginning to prepare for a bath in the jetted tub, I went to grab a towel and noticed how dingy and crispy they were. It was all just frustrating and a huge disappointment. I went to bed and woke up the next morning ready for the advertised breakfast. What a joke! I saw one empty heated pan in a tray meant for 2. I went to the front desk to ask & the guy brought out some...
