Updating my review to include the new Hunt's Pizza offering in the Cafe. It's a great addition and very tasty, they have a thin crust option which is perfect and a very good breakfast pizza! The pizza/wings only take about 6-7 minutes to cook and taste very fresh. Nice to have this on-site and not have to drive or wait an hour for delivery, saves gas and time! I've stayed at hundreds campgrounds and KOA's over the past 30 years and this is by far my favorite, it's a gem in the camping world. The facilities and grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The campground is a nice size, everything is within walking distance. They installed a huge new pool this year and it is fantastic! The staff is all friendly, family owned and the workers appear to be campers themselves. I've always had positive interactions and it's impressive how much staff is around to help. They are very upbeat and make you feel good with every interaction. The 10 pm quite hour is enforced and staff patrol around the clock to maintain quite and help with anything you might need. The camp store is well supplied with goodies and camping essentials in case you need something critical ( I seem to every trip!). The pond is really nice and I always see people enjoying the fishing and boats. They have a Cafe with great pancake breakfasts (the blueberry pancakes are fantastic!). They also have pizza, burgers, ect. We especially love the fresh fries and onion rings, we usually grab some to have with whatever we might be grilling at the site. Probably the most family friendly campground we've been to. While my wife and I were playing bingo there was a group of kids and family playing kickball in a field and a bunch of kids jumping on some giant pillow thing, nice to see so many people having fun, even during these trying times. This is the only Campground where I've been able to get a solid wifi connection, important for me as I can do a work zoom meeting remotely. We were also able to stream directly to our smart tv from our home services. No need for cable or a satellite! There is a lot to do in the area, horse track and casino less than 5 miles away and a water park nearby. This is a great place to stay while touring the local wineries or going to Watkins Glen (I've stayed at the KOA in Watkins, it is huge and the most expensive one I've stayed at in the Northeast). I wish I had discovered this KOA years ago, it's a perfect escape from home (Syracuse NY) and less than an hour away if my wife is driving :). I recently read that RV sales are up 30% this year, last time that happened was 9/11. Campgrounds booked very quickly and I'm certain that'll happen again. I'd book a year in advance if you can't get in now, I learned the hard way. This is a great place to book a Monday-Friday if you can't get in a full week. Enjoy your stay, it's hard not to! Ps. Don't miss the Happy Camper Breakfast in the cafe!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Koa Rochester, and it was an unforgettable camping experience! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The campground facilities were top-notch - clean restrooms, hot showers, and well-maintained campsites that provided the perfect balance of nature and comfort. The surrounding area was stunning, with beautiful natural landscapes and convenient access to nearby attractions. Koa Rochester offered an array of exciting activities, such as well-marked hiking trails, a serene fishing spot, and a refreshing swimming pool to beat the summer heat. Additionally, the playground and other recreational amenities kept both kids and adults entertained. What impressed me the most was the peacefulness and privacy of the campsites. We had ample space to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. The campground's commitment to safety measures gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. Moreover, I must mention their pet-friendly environment, as our furry friend had a blast too! The campground's thoughtfulness extended to all campers, including our beloved pets. Overall, Koa Rochester exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this campground for anyone seeking an outstanding camping experience. Thank you, Koa Rochester, for making our trip one to remember!

We stayed at the KOA in Farmington, NY this past weekend (Friday–Sunday) and were pleasantly surprised! The whole campground was spotless & super well-kept, including the bathrooms which were really clean! They placed us right on the fishing pond, which the kids absolutely loved. We had a tent site with electric and water (Site 2), it was a bit lot and sunny (not a lot of shade but perfect for sunbathing!) Everything is just a short walk away, the bathrooms/showers, the playground, the big pool (also very clean!), the store (decently priced), and the awesome vintage-style arcade where we played pool ($1), air hockey ($1) & table tennis (free!). The 18-hole mini putt ($3/person) was a blast, and my daughter couldn’t get enough of the giant jump pad. Literally hours of fun. We also tried ice cream from the Kafe the first night, a little pricey at $6.75 for a 2-scoop cone, but tasty. The paddle boats were fun too ($5/half hour), and the old-school obstacle course in the woods was a cool surprise. Saturday night Bingo was only $2 a card and a great time! And of course, we loved roasting marshmallows over the fire. Firewood on site is $8 per small bundle and we went through two bundles in about 2 hours. Only a 5-minute drive to Aldi, a gas station, hardware, liquor store, and fast food if you need anything. Highly recommend this KOA, we’ll definitely be back!

We booked a two room cabin (2K2) for the fourth of July weekend for 4 adults, 1 child and a dog. Our cabin was located directly on the pond and was super cozy. We had a double bed, kitchen table and mini fridge in the first room and two sets of bunk beds and a microwave in the second room. There was a window AC unit in each of the two rooms along with a ceiling fan in each. There is a covered porch with a wooden swing. We brought a 10x10 canopy to set up in front of the cabin for shade and to protect from some rain. There were family friendly activities going on all weekend like a petting zoo, kids crafts, make your own sundaes, DJ karaoke, etc. The price was very reasonable for our accommodations. The campground is not overly large so everything is within comfortable walking distance. The bathroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. The showers included a 3x3 (ish) changing room in the same "stall" as the shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our pancake breakfasts in the Kafe and absolutely loved Elliott! He was so pleasant and friendly. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. We especially loved working with Barb in the office/store. We had pleasant exchanges with Victor and he was so happy and friendly each time.

We took out the paddle boats and had fun on those. Again the cost was not outrageous for a little bit of fun. We did rent the bikes - word to the wise they are harder than they look. There are no gears and they are pretty heavy. The pool is on the small size (3 ft - 8 ft deep) but very clean and well maintained. There is no lifeguard on duty and an adult must be with children at all times. The kids loved the Jump Pillow - it was one of the main attractions. There is a 10 pm quiet time but that just means not to be rowdy. Everyone still sat out by their campfires talking. There is free WiFi and you just have to reconnect every 24 hrs. Its not terribly fast but that's cool because you are camping.

We had a great vacation and made some new friends. We want to thank all of the staff at the KOA and we cannot...

The campgrounds was very nice and clean, and there were numerous things to do for mostly children which is great. The staff (not the owner and his wife) were exceptional. Always willing to help or give advice and were just the nicest people. Unfortunately my fiance and I will not be camping here anymore because of the simple fact that the owner, Victor, and his wife are 2 of the most rudest people I have ever encountered. We stayed there for the 1st time last weekend, everything went well, until it came time to rebook a cabin. Victor's wife showed a lack of patience and was extremely rude and was trying anything to not give us our refund back that we put down for another weekend. (We wanted the refund back because they were not sure if there was going to be an available cabin the following weekend.) After getting the run around, we decided to give them another shot and bring my fiances little sister with us this weekend. Everything was good, we left yesterday for a few hours to hit up Canadaguia beach, came back to find my fiances engagement ring missing. We searched everywhere and as a last resort (and in order to get a new one under the ring's insurance) we had the police come out to file a police report. Everything was fine until check out this morning. Victor was intolerable, rude and arrogant. I left my change accidently on the counter and started walking out and Victor made a rude and highly unneccesary comment "is that how you lost your ring?" We enjoyed our 2 weekends here but we will not be returning because of the way the owner and his wife treated...
