Stayed there last weekend with my in-laws and I was very disappointed in pretty much every aspect of this campground. I was told that there is a strict 5mph speed limit. I've been to a lot of campgrounds and I understand the speed limit. The first experience I had was the security coming up to me and aggressively telling me that I need to slow down because I was going faster than 5. He's been doing this a while and he knows how to tell speed with his eyes. If I'm being honest, it was probably 6mph that I was going. I have a manual, loud sports car that even if I remove my foot from the clutch, it goes about 7mph without gas applied. He then told me that he gives 2nd chances to people who don't argue with him....okay. If you can tell the difference between 5-7mph with your eyes, you are a god damn super hero.

The bathrooms that were cleaned for an hour daily, were absolutely disgusting. Floor was soaking wet the entire weekend and the bathroom smelled like old wet towels and mold. Try taking a seat on a toilet and having to pull back up wet shorts because your shorts touched the ground....disgusting.

We went to go do the Christmas in July wagon ride and watched a dog attack occur. Owners dogs were loose and attacked a 10 week old puppy. Puppy was bit and bleeding despite being on a leash which is in THEIR RULES. But yet they don't have to keep their dogs on a leash...based on what I've read, this is not the first time someone has had an issue like this.

All in all the whole place seemed run down. I wouldn't touch this campground again with a 10 foot pole.

**Since google doesn't let people rebuttle, I will do it this way. While I appreciate and understand the need to defend your business, I will defend my points as well. The Bathrooms yes may be "cleaned" everyday, but blaming their disgusting smell of mold and the completely soaked floors throughout the entire building on the campers is wrong. I literally held the door open for your cleaner when she was "done" and the bathrooms were exactly the same so don't go telling everyone on here that it's our fault. I was the first one in and it was still gross. Maybe you need to get your self some industrial cleaning supplies or an excavator and start over. They are disgusting.

As far as the speed limit, I've been to many campgrounds throughout my life. Maybe instead of stereotyping me because I have a loud car and instantly arguing with me about speeding (which again, 6 in a 5 in a manual car is pretty damn understandable), you should enforce that rule throughout the rest of the campground as I saw numerous golf carts flying by way faster than 5.

And the dog attack, the owners told us their dog was bit. Regardless if that was the truth, accidents like leaving the door open do happen. But your dogs should not be running out and attacking other dogs. Especially with this being a dog...

We originally booked for only a week(last minute booking) , and after reading the reviews debated cancelling our reservations all together. I’m so glad we didn’t! Our family ended up staying for 3 weeks from Sep-Oct. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that it’s way more likely for a person to leave a negative review than a positive- so sometimes you don’t know what’s posted out of frustration as a jab at the campsite and what’s truly just feedback regarding campground. So here’s my unbiased experience and opinion. We loved the weekend events for Fall including a Halloween party & Haunted trail that was so much fun for us and our pre teens. The park was clean and fun for our 4 year old. She especially loved the giant sand pit! There’s also a very large field attached to the park that our dog loved to explore. (Would be perfect to fence in for a dog park) The Beach area is small but has a nice area to swim (weather permitting- it was a bit cold during our visit). We mostly enjoyed the fishing docks! This campground is huge! So bikes came in handy for getting around. If you don’t have bikes- they rent them by the hour at the market/office. (You can also rent kayaks, canoes or paddle boats) The front market is great and super convenient! My kids loved stopping in for candy lol Kudos to all of the staff we encountered during our 3 week stay. Everyone was polite. Always helpful. They were so accommodating when my husband needed to park his work truck on site. (We traveled here for his job). That to us was one of the biggest perks, as his work truck is a necessity. The 5mph is enforced. They tell you this upon arrival- and honestly it gave us so much peace of mind knowing no one would be speeding past our kids as they road their bike around the campground. Even if it was sometimes painful to roll at that speed 😂. Still not a big deal. Showers take quarters. One quarter = 10 mins of water. Bathrooms and shower houses were maintained. Nothing fancy- but definitely not filthy.

We stayed in area D of the campground. We loved our spot. We saw herons fly over daily to land in the field by the park. It was quiet and clean. Close to laundry, shower houses, the park and a dumpster. Our spot was mostly level (all spots are grass not graveled or paved) but had like 5 fire pits dugout which made parking a 36ft camper slightly challenging as we were trying to dodge them. But we managed and then proceeded to fill in a couple of them to avoid tripping over them.

Overall we loved it here at LazyDays. We will likely be in the area again next year and hope to get to visit again for some of their summer activities! Take these reviews with a grain of salt. Check it out for yourself - there’s no perspective like your own. ...

I'll start off saying I enjoyed my stay due to the company I had rather than the quality of the grounds.

Prices are very reasonable for the sites and staff was extremely friendly. The store seemed to stock the essentials if you were in need and ice was reasonably priced.

My group was reasonably loud at times and no one complained, much appreciated. Our neighbors were very reasonable and inviting - great guests stay here it seems.

**Due to no fault of the owners (you're camping - so get away from your phone): Cell service is extremely spotty and may require you walking the property to find a signal. Being close to West Bend I was expecting better service with Verizon. 1-2 bars LTE if in a good spot. At times was hard to connect a call but we made it out alive - no losses.

The vehicle pathways are riddled with potholes and require some attention. If I had a car I would imagine I would have issues getting around the property. May require 4 wheel drive to get around during rainy days.

The lots are mostly barren of trees leading to little to no privacy or noise reduction. Though it is a great way to meet strangers - even if it is a drunk person stumbling into your site. Cheers!

Garbage piled up at the drop off points leading to an incredible smell when driving by but I'll ignore that due to it being the holiday weekend. Maybe more drop off points are needed.

Bathrooms/showers were a little rough at times and in need of some care. They did clean it daily though some much needed repairs are in order.

They offer pull-out service for stuck vehicles and trailers as well as waste pumping. The equipment is old but it looked like it did the trick.

Great spot if you're coming with a group. The extended stay neighbors are friendly and there seems to be a lot of people enjoying the property. Beach was not fully prepared when I came but it looked like it would be enjoyable with the floating rafts and such. It's mostly trailers and such so if you're expecting ample tent camping maybe look elsewhere as it is not prime for that experience.

I will be returning with the...
