Great memories and wonderful sites. Site was fairly level. Ample room. Power hookup high enough to allow surge suppressor. Water pressure decent. Sewer hookup decent as well. I got to see the colors in Forestport and Kayuta Lake area at their peak. This is a wonderful campground with lots of options. There are cabins, tent spots as well as full hookups. There is a boat launch along with canoe and kayak rentals. Lots to do for the kids with a basketball court and play area. For dog walkers, lots of places to take your four legged friend and stretch the legs. A trip on this last weekend in September was fabulous. The smell of the falling leaves. The campfire keeping you toasty. Walks and relaxation. They had a "make your own ice cream sunday" bar with lots of toppings for all taste buds. Campground closes in October so be sure that if you can't stop this year, this location will be on your list next year.

Been a camper there for many years. Became seasonal 6 years ago. Very kid friendly, family friendly and pet friendly A great place to spend time with family and friends. Boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing are some of the many amenities offered at Kayuta Lake Campgrounds. They have themed weekends all summer long. They also honor our military by offering discounts and special events and activities in those special weekends. Come one come all, Kayuta Lake Campgrounds is for everyone.

Our family just returned from our first time camping at Kayuta. We are seasoned campers, but have never been here before. This campground is family friendly, clean, and safe. We were impressed with the management, how well kept the grounds were, and how the rules were enforced. We always felt comfortable letting our kids play and explore the area. It was quiet and peaceful family camping. We will be back here soon.

NOT KID FRIENDLY

my kids went camping with my parents during summer break. While there my children utilized the pool the first night of staying (with my mother present). While in the pool they were playing just being kids and did not jump in per the pool rules. The next day they went back to the pool and as they got there my mother was holding the gate door for my nephew while my two children went and got in the pool. The male staff there yelled (rudely) over to my mother wanting to know “who do these children belong to”. My mother told him that they were her grandchildren. The male staff yelled “well you need to be on this side of the fence if they are going to be in the pool. And there is no jumping and these kids were jumping in the pool”. My daughter who is eight told my mother that she did not jump in the pool (she lifted herself from the edge of the pool and let go). The male staff thought that it was OK for him to scream at my daughter for “jumping in the pool”. She is a child and under no circumstances does anybody have the right to yell at other peoples children for doing nothing wrong their rule is no jumping in the pool that means while your feet are on the ground jumping off into the pool not playing in the pool and letting yourself fall in from the waist up. If I could have given less than one star and still been able to write my review that’s what they would’ve gotten. This mama bear...

Was looking forward to spending quality time camping with family who I only get to see once a year. Had multiple sites between everyone that was there. I understand the rules of having a max number of guests that can stay per night but without the lady at the counter figuring it up she was extremely rude and assumed we had more people than allowed and made us purchase an extra site for another family member to stay just one night when we had enough space on the three sites we had already purchased. Had visitors come up and had to check into office for the day to pay their fees and the lady (I believe the owner) at the counter was extremely rude. Everywhere else I have camped you are able to have visitors while camping without attitude and a million questions. Camping sites are way to close together. No lake access for swimming. Will not be staying here ever again. Camping should be relaxing and a good place to get away from the chaos but didn't get that here. Would...
