Clean campground with room for big rigs.
Things to know:
-very well maintained campground. Trash isn't picked up at sites like most KOAs because of animal life.
-the night sky view is incredible. No light pollution!!
-nice showers (bath house has cleaned individual rooms with a toilet and shower)
-no parking spaces at the pool/pavilion. The staff did allow us to park at an empty site but this would still be challenging if mobility was an issue for you . However the pool as a bench in it which is awesome for families & accessibility
-Staff was very proactive in cleaning up after a big storm.
-when we booked three months in advance , asked to camp near our friends, but could not have been camping farther apart, which was frustrating with small kids. The campground wasn't full, but the owners were hosting a family so that may have been why.
not much shade on full hookup up back in sites
-we got the vibes from the woman at the front desk that our children were not welcome in the game room & gift shop, but the folks hosting the kids social stuff were super friendly with our kiddos!
-slight big brother vibes. The staff is very friendly but intense. If you want to be left alone this probably isn't...
Read moreNot a good impression when we arrived and they tell us "The bathrooms are down by your cabin, so you will have to walk across the entire campground all weekend to use the bathroom or use the porta potty". They charged us full retail for our cabin and made us walk across the entire campground to wash hands or use the bathroom. You come across as cheap. You should have given us free breakfast. You did bring in a porta potty. It stank in the summertime. The bathrooms were spotless on the other side of the campus. The porta potty was disgusting.
You represent the Sunday breakfast and sundaes as a great opportunity for the campers. It's an opportunity for you to make more profit. The sundae is small and overpriced at $4.00. The Sunday breakfast is 3 pancakes, a sausage and a milk for $6.00. I can get a whole meal at McDonalds for $5.00. Both are overpriced.
The bathrooms and the grounds were well kept. The staff was nice but you come across as cheap. There was no recycling bin for paper, only plastics and aluminum cans. The paper should go in a recycling bin, not in the trash.
I would not go out of my way to come back. Average...

The campground is surrounded by trees and the grass is full and feels good in-between the toes😁 The BATHROOMS-are such a huge thing for me as I can be a bit of a princess when it comes to bathrooms they have to feel clean…and this campground keeps theirs pristine!(with the occasional bug,but it IS a campground) My favorites are the bathrooms on top of the hill has a toilet, sink and round glass door to step into the shower! The STAFF-AMAZING!! Tyler is pretty awesome he remembered my daughter just by meeting her once and even helped her become a part of their haunted trail oh let’s not forget he makes a awesome pirate! Gets right into character like it’s second skin 😂 but ALL the staff are amazing and super friendly every night ne of you!! The OWNERS are just as AMAZING and genuinely nice and caring people You can feel the dedication they have for their campground! Thank you for an amazing experience the last 2 years!
