The Awosting Club — Hotel in Town of Gardiner

Magical dream land filled with enchantment ! We stayed in the geo domes overnight and we love LOVE love everything about the domes!!!!‼️‼️the land and the HISToRY! I think my husband and I could sit on the deck of the dome for days just listening to the little gushing water below !!! You don’t really need yo pack anything (except your food & drink) Katie brought us on a tour of the lodge and we had so much fun exploring this meandering home filled with interesting artifacts and FUN antiques❕ MY daughter is obsessing over staying in this house with her cousins 🤪 but we are obsessing about going back to the geo domes it’s so comfortable inside with all of homey vibes like a bed, couch , fridge and then you STEP OUTIDE and woah! Is it beautiful 🥰 The outhouse is so cedar!y fresh and comfortable (I always put some fun lights inside so at night when it gets super dark it’s still just as fun to go inside … also bringing solar lights & glow in the dark toys is always a hit …..this time around it STORMED like crazy yet we were cozy in our dome … those domes are STRONG and new paltz is super close by so you can pick up food and snacks and I suggest you get everything you think you might want because once you enter the gates at the Awosting club YOU WON”T WANT TO LEAVE 😁💗 Katie is just the sweetest, funniest , most joyful person you could ever meet and this is certainly m y favorite way to camp I don’t think we will ever put up a tent again 😛 I can’t imagine why anyone would choose a hotel over this majestic private fun private preserve speckled with interesting trails & history … my husband and I think the trees might emit magic gasses that make you happy for days 😍🙏✨💜 thank you for greeting us with such love & enthusiasm Katie and can’t wait to come back and visit again! We stayed in the mountain house for a celebration with extended family. The house is extraordinary, both inside and out. We absolutely loved it.

It was so peaceful to sit outside with views of a waterfall and the sounds of the little stream running right through the deck. We loved swimming in the natural pools, hiking the trails, and seeing deer walk right by.

The home is full of antiques and interesting artifacts. The layout is great for kids to watch a movie or play in one room, while adults could lounge and chat in the very next room.

Katie, the property manager, was attentive and professional. She has so much knowledge about the history of the home, and she was happy to answer our endless questions. She even took the time to give our kids a tour of the grounds. We were grateful for her patience and friendliness, because our group can be a handful!

I honestly can't wait to stay...

This place is going to be our "adult only" camping getaway from kids! We stayed here on our 10th anniversary weekend, and had an amazing and wonderful time! We had checked in when it was dark already, but the moment we settled, we felt instant relaxation and decompressed. Katie, our host, provided us with excellent service and was quick to respond.

We stayed at dome #4. The dome was loft- like, high ceiling, clean and bigger than we had imagined. The sound of water flowing from a river below a cliff near us, was so soothing, we had the best nap on the hammock! Also, the awesome and huge iron fire pit completed our whole experience! Unfortunately, we didn't get to hike to the waterfall. But we will make sure to do...
