Western Ranch Motor Inn — Hotel in Town of Geddes

While I haven't stayed in the hotel, I can attest to the fact that the food here is DYNAMITE! I haven't had a single thing that wasn't fresh and flavored to perfection. The menu changes often (maybe weekly?) which keeps everything nice and fresh.

The pizza is really the best you can get in the area. The dough is great, sauce is super tasty and they use really good quality cheese. I had a charcuterie plate once- literally to die for! I think they special order ingredients, because they are far from the standard, restaurant wholesale stuff every other place sells. I'm also obsessed with their soups, chili and beans and greens. (Oh man... my mouth is watering just thinking about this stuff). The desert menu is constantly changing, but there is always at least 4 tasty treats to choose from. I believe they are mostly from Biscottis or made in house.

Portions and prices are very reasonable. You won't leave hungry- I've always had enough food leftover to bring home for lunch the next day, and I leave stuffed.

The bar area is comfortable with some hi top tables and a few regular tables too. The bartender is awesome, good at what she does and very friendly. Bar is stocked with a great selection of beers, seltzers, and other bottled/caned drinks. The spirit selection is wide, with the well known stuff as well as some different and unique liquors. All drinks are very reasonably priced. The company is fun and always very friendly.

Stopped in today for the first time, and it was exceptional! To start, we met our bartender/server Lindsey and she was so nice. Very personable and professional. When we told her it was our first time there, she explained all the daily specials they have, for lunch and dinner. They have specials going on every day, burgers, wings, Cans and Clams, steak, fish, they have it covered. We ordered wings, half extra hot, half with Boss Sauce. While we were waiting, Wally the owner came out and told us all about the history of the place and showed us his extensive collection of memorabilia on the walls, with much more to go up! Yankees, Steelers, SU, Woodstock, Racing, The NYS Fair, and more. The place is spotless, very clean. TVs, darts(soft tip and regular). Our wings arrived that we had ordered extra crispy and they were cooked to perfection. The extra hot ones were just that but not too hot to eat. The Boss Sauce was sweet with a hint of barbecue. We met the chef, Derek, and after complimenting him on the extra hot sauce, he explained that he makes it himself in house, a gallon at a time. Nice!
