The Restful Ewe Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Town of Genoa

I've been cautious about bed and breakfasts, though I love the concept, because it's hard to know in advance if the host will be truly welcoming, versus only welcoming to certain kinds of people. Well, Nancy was 1000% welcoming. Our brief stay was everything I'd want a BnB experience to be. There are beautiful common areas, including a peaceful porch and serene garden room, and I woke up to the sun streaming in through the windows of the Swan Room and the smell of freshly baked pastries. I'm very impressed by Nancy's hospitality skills. She had a keen sense for when we wanted to chat and when we wanted to withdraw. She's also a professional-level baker (I would go back just for her pastries), flower arranger, gardener, interior designer, housekeeper, and textile/craft artist?? Highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Nancy and Dave couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming, and delightful. The location is really peaceful. The rooms were comfortable and clean as can be. The freshly-made breakfast scones and muffins along with the fruit, yogurt, and granola offered were outstanding. There also is a great porch that is perfect for some reading and relaxing.
