Great campground, lots of amenities. Very clean showers, bathrooms, outdoor games up in the main area, and most things are free. The pool was not up and running when we were there it was a little early, but the baby pool and hot tub were. They were great. They have mostly permanent campers and only 12 weekend sites. The sites are large pull thru sites. The fire pit placement in concjunction with the swear placement made it hard to hook up and run our awning out. Would have needed 3 sections of tubing. We did fine for the 3 nights we were there. It did rain alot amd the Mosquitos were awful as soon as you got out of the truck. Maybe they could pretreat the area with spray. I rented a spot here when they first opened. The owners were always courteous to us and the grounds were clean. We only stayed for 3 years because every year the price went up a couple hundred dollars and we ended up getting a spot for cheaper at another campground that we were on the waiting list for. The new campground was on the lake too! What really sucked was that we had to leave behind $400 in patio brick and a $700 deck, but oh well. UPDATE In response to the owners reply. I definitely do not have the wrong campground in mind. We rented when the campground barely had anything. The spots to the West weren't available until the year we left. This campground is pretty dang awesome. Such a feeling of home. We rented the park model for the weekend and it gave a great insight into the general feel of the communuty.
The park model was well stocked with a brand new sponge and roll of paper towel.. It literally had everything you need except the clothes on your back. Very clean and well appointed.
We attended bingo and had a great time, and the pool was the perfect temp. Don't agree? Hit up the hot tub!
All of the seasonal sites were well kept, the pool was beautiful, and all of the seasonal campers were welcoming.
